    Needed a tow on 1/7/25. It took 4 hours for the driver to arrive on a clear, sunny day. I would have been terrified to be stranded alone for that long had I not been in a safe place. AAA text link and app were useless in providing updated ETA on tow truck. I had to call twice to get an update on service and then reach out to towing company myself. Should have called my own tow truck driver and then sought reimbursement for the measly 5 mile tow that my policy provides. Called customer service to complain and had to tell my story 3 times. Each customer service rep cared a little less than the last, even though they were allegedly moving me up to a customer service mgr. I also filled out 2 surveys detailing my disappointing experience only to receive a reply saying how much AAA strives for excellent customer service. What a joke. I reached out via social media only to get a bot reply asking for my membership number. I had requested a refund for the unused portion of my policy and I was told that is not an option.

    It is unclear which AAA you need to reach out to but I chose Chattanooga on this complaint because that is the local number listed on the back of my card and that is the closest AAA location to my home.

    I also mailed the form in requesting that I be left off of the mailing list for junk mail and I receive 5-6 pieces of mail per month regarding AAA life insurance, etc. I want off of the mailing list. I want nothing to do with AAA. Their customer service is abysmal.

    Dispute: Discriminatory action based on other members and the benefits received versus benefit my daughter received.
    Has the business tried to resolve the problem: No, I went to member relations and spoke with ****** on 02/06/2024 and she advised me to file a reimbursement request. The reimbursement request was filed and immediately denied. Reimbursement ID: RM-******
    ***** ***** Membership#: **************** ********* ******* (my daughter whom I pay for her Membership#): ****************  The discriminatory issue evolves around upgrading your account. I upgraded my account on 11/28/2023 to have my vehicle towed without incurring any additional mileage charges. Even though the handbook indicates it will take 72 hours to become effective, my vehicle was towed on 11/29/2023 at 9:25am. I have proof of this tow. No additional mileage charges were incurred.

    I pay for my daughter's AAA coverage. She needed a tow on 02/04/2024 and needed to upgrade her account in order not to incur any additional mileage charges; however, AAA did not honor her upgrade until the 72 hour period and made her pay an additional $119.00 to have her vehicle towed.

    AAA is not treating their members equally. I tried to resolve this with AAA directly and the request was denied. This is discrimination and is not fair nor is it ethical.

    Not to mention their services are horrible. It took me 5 phone calls and 3 online requests to get my vehicle towed. They do not live up to an acceptable standard when lives are on the line.

    We apologize for any confusion surrounding this matter. There is a 72 hour waiting period to use the upgraded membership benefits. This was just human error where the provider forgot to collect over mileage from you. There was no discrimination, just human error in collecting money.

    NON DISCLOSURE SCAM

    I purchased a membership, seven weeks short of a year ago.

    I went online, as I wanted to upgrade my membership to a higher level,
    And it gave me a quote. I went back today, approx a week later, and it is FORCING ME TO RENEW, and will not let me upgrade.

    Over an HOUR on the phone, given main office in Dearborn MI, NO ANSWER DURING WORKING HOURS, NO WAY TO LEAVE A MESSAGE!

    NON DISCLOSURE OF UPGRADE REFUSAL 2 MONTHS BEFORE EXPIRE

    So! SINCE I CANNOT RENEW TWO MONTHS EARLY, YOU WILL NOT UPGRADE A PREVIOUS PAID MEMBERSHIP,,,,,,

    NO NOTICE OF UPGRADE UNAVAILABILITY TIMEFRAME.

    I-will be happily seeking an attorney if this is not corrected ASAP.

    This is your notice, your tactics are ILLEGAL without proper disclosure

    I have AAA auto insurance. I was involved in a accident on 4-28-21. I let them handle my case even though I was not at fault. They have yet to reimburse me for my $500.,00 deductible. My name is ***** ******* and my policy number is #************. I can't believe they are taking so long. Please help . Jerry H***** is supposed to be taking care of this. My accident numbers are #********* and #*********. I have talked to numerous people and they always say they will take care of it but they never return my calls.

    Auto Club South Insurance Company (ACSIC) has acknowledged
    and reviewed the complaint generated via our member, ***** ******* regarding
    claim *********, a single-vehicle automobile accident, which occurred on April 28, 2021, Specifically, Mrs. ****** cites a
    complaint with our deductible reimbursement process.

    Per review, the subrogation efforts and contacts to the at-fault insurance company are noted as being met with the other carrier claiming no liability or partial liability in this matter. Nonetheless, we will review and forward this for possible arbitration forum hearing. In an effort to assist our member during this extended timeframe, we will front the applicable deductible to them directly while we continue our recovery efforts.

    Triple AAA "dispatched " and assigned a towing company to come help with the roadside assistance I pay for yearly. They gave an allotted 75 mins for the tow people to get to my location. Never showed up so i called. They said they would call me back with more information never did. They could never get in contact with Reece Road Side Assistance. They are taking our money to give contracts to road side assistance companies who do not show up when you need help. I went through this process 2 times. No one came to help.
