We have been told by three of the Chattanooga parking Authority employees that if you pay for parking in one zone that as long as you have time on that zone that that time will count if you move to another parking zone. The following pictures show that I had parked in one zone And moved to another parking zone only two blocks away and there was still 60 minutes left on my original parking zone. However, when talking to the employee writing my parking violation, they said that that wasn’t the case or as we’ve been told in the past that it was. Therefore, we need clarification on the matter so that we can avoid this sort of thing in the future. However, we’ve never had a problem before when we’ve relocated to a zone and one of the parking authority employees did not have an issue with us parking in a different zone number.

We were able to talk with  Mr. ********* and help clear up the confusion. The issue ended up being Mr. ********* paid for parking using the ********** app, but paid for a private lot and not the On-street area where he received the citation. We were able to provide Mr. ********* information going forward on what areas he can use his On-Street mobile payments as well as which off street locations the Chattanooga Parking Authority manage via our website.

I received a citation which I appealed within the time limits because I had just received a new license plate the day before and had forgotten to change the license plate number in the Park Mobile app. My prior license plate, ******, was shown on the list of paid plates. I did not receive further correspondence so I assumed the issue was resolved.

I received a letter in 2023 indicating a balance for this citation was due. I contacted the Chattanooga Parking Authority to resolve it.

A few weeks ago, I received a collection notice.

    The citation number is ********.

Citation received in the mail for a parking violation for a vehicle that was not mine. They listed my tag under the details, but everything else in the description of the vehicle including Make, Model and the half dozen images of an incorrectly parked vehicle showed someone else’s car. The vehicle pictured was a White Toyota truck and trailer, blocking spaces and issued a citation. The only thing linked to me was that the issuing agent listed my tag, which corresponds to my Black Nissan Kicks. A compact car. The letter I received in the mail was a month after the allegedly infraction, directly from the company. In this letter, it stated I had 10 days to dispute despite the fact that the letter didn’t in my mailbox for a month. The company has very similar reviews on ******, most all users ranking 1 star with similar complaints. I left multiple voicemails with the company and emails all have not been responded to, explaining that I was incorrectly ticketed. I am now receiving letters, calls and texts from debt collection agency’s on behalf of the scam parking company. This company is not affiliated with local government, it is a private owned company.

    The citation number is ********.

The citation was issued in error and was voided out on 2/7/24. Attached is a screenshot showing this citation was voided out. We apologize for the inconvenience and the fact that this citation slipped through and was not caught in time.

2023-07--19 at 1300, the kiosk refused my credit card, so I was forced to pay cash. The machine accepted my money, but gave no change. The signs at the kiosk were vandalized, so there was no warning that my money would be stolen. There was a constant police presence on site, but I think it was for the kiosk, not the tourists' cars. I called the phone number given, only to be told, "Read the sign.'" by an irate southern accented woman. She then refused to even attempt to refund my stolen money. I would like my $3 back.

There is a sticker on the machine that states "No refund or Change"  I apologize that you had an unpleasant experience while visiting one of our parking lots.  I will get the $3.00 in change mailed to you on Monday to the address provided on this complaint.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thank you,
