    2/2/2024
    I brought my 2002 Lexus hard top convertible in to Tint World to get an estimate on having their wrap put on my trunk to cover up some sun damage. The estimate given was $640.00. On that day I authorized the wrap to be installed, set a date for instillation, and paid in full for the job.
    2/19/2024
    I took the car in to proceed with the agreed upon wrapping. Shortly after leaving the car, I was contacted by Tint World and notified that the paint had been damaged when they attempted to perform the wrapping.  They assured me that it was not a problem and would take care of repainting the damage caused by their wrapping procedure. It is my understanding that they took the car to their preferred paint and body shop to get an estimate. I am not aware of the name of the body shop or the cost. However, I was informed that they were planning on taking the trunk top off which could damage the mechanism for opening and closing the hard top. Because of the potential mechanical problem with taking the trunk top off I did not feel comfortable authorizing the trunk top being removed without contacting and authorized Lexus repair center.
    3/25/2024
    Tint World requested that I take the car to ****** *********, an authorized paint and body shop for Toyota and Lexus. At that time, I got an estimate to repair the damage done by Tint World for $1,500. ****** ********* Center informed me that they would not remove the trunk top because it could damage the opening and closing mechanism. It was also their opinion that I should not let any other repair shop take the trunk top off because of the complications that may happen with the opening and closing mechanism. 
    3/28/2024
    I confronted Tint World regarding getting my car repaired and their manager informed me that they were not paying for the necessary repairs needed for the damage done by their shop and to come get my refund of $640.00 leaving me with a damaged car that is now going to cost $1500 to get repaired. Not only are they not paying for the repairs, they returned my car in much worse condition than when I brought it in. My car is now in 5 pieces. See attached photos.
     I am requesting that Tint World pay for the damage done by their wrapping process to my car and all repairs be done by ****** *********, an authorized paint and body shop for Lexus.
    I would greatly appreciate your help in getting this problem resolved.
