Me and my roommate received a letter on Oct 11th of 2024 by ******* *******(property manager) stating that we have credits due to paying our rent on time and that we need to refrain from paying rent for at least 2 months. Those 2 months were ******************* because we had already made our rent payment for October. We called to confirm that we had credits because we wasnt sure. She told us that we have been paying rent on time and so we received credits of $2,130.90, which those credits are going to be used for rent. I asked her does that mean we dont pay rent in ******************* to confirm, she responded yes and told us to enjoy the holidays because we dont have to pay rent. I asked her when do we need to start paying rent again and she told me and my roommate to give her a call in January to see how much credits we had left instead of making a rent payment. I have called 2 times on January 3rd at 11:21, we had no response. I also called again on January 7th at 6:22 because we seen the person was in the office but chose not to answer the phone. On January 8th, Instead of responding back to our calls, we get a letter on our door saying that we have not paid rent and that we have 30 days to get out. Me and my roommate were extremely confused on what rent was missed so I called twice the same day which was January 8th at 3:01 and the other time was 3:45, we did not get a response, so I decided to send an email also at 5:59 about the situation and they finally responded the next day which is January 9th, the new person who is in office disregarded everything I said in the email and did not give us any info about how we have a rent payment that is missing. He/she responded by saying they check emails everyday and that this was the first time they ever heard from me. I have been trying to reach out to them but they are trying to make it seem like we have not tried too. They wont give us any info about the situation, they are just trying to kick us out.

    Business Response

    Date: 01/13/2025

On January 9th, I reached out to the resident and informed them of the amount on the account balance. I also stated I would be in office on Tuesday from 8am-6pm if they would like to stop by and discuss further. The response I received stated they would be there. At this time, I have not had a chance to discuss with the resident because it is only Monday. Once we meet in office on Tuesday, I am sure this will be resolved.

I scheduled an appointment to renew my lease with my friend on a Monday, April 22nd,2024. we were late to the appointment and I came in and she immediately had an attitude with me saying she moved on to the next person & that its not her job to sit there & wait for people, and we would have to call and reschedule again and that we better be on time for the next one. She disrespected me in front of other people that was in the office with her at the time. She told me it cant be no later then Monday on the 29th which doesnt make sense because my lease doesnt end until next month on May 16th, I dont understand why my lease has to be signed on April 29 when my lease is due in 3 weeks. and im confused where they raised my rent out of nowhere , my original rent is 780 and now its going up to 900 which im not understanding how it went up, Ive been calling them since Tuesday and she still hasnt responded, I left a voicemail as well, my mom, my friend and I have been calling as well and they didnt get a response back either and Im stressed and dont know what else to do. I just want answers because it makes me upset that ** getting treated badly when Ive been nothing but respectful & like to her but I always receive an attitude from her when I talk to her. She also called me months ago accusing me of not paying my rent when I did pay my rent. I told her I put in the drop box where everyones rent goes & then she claimed that she found it in the pile of others people rents & she just didnt see my name the first time she looked,. she wasnt apologetic about it either, she was very rude like it was my fault that she didnt see my name the first time she went through the pile. I dont understand why shes always angry towards me, I have done nothing wrong nor have I ever spoke to her in a rude manner. I would love to stay at these apartments but its kinda hard to do that when my rent is raising from 780 to 900 with no explanation and also with rude management.
