    I signed up for a health wellness program on 9/14/23 at the time I was enrolled and encouraged to sign up for a medical credit card worth 1500 to help pay the cost of the program. The card came from *************** care credit it was sent to me in the mail I received the card in or around October 2023. At the time I did not use the card, and the ******* was on the card, when I called the credit card company I told them I didnt need the medical credit card because I had insurance ******** and ******** and my medical needs were covered so I canceled the card and the account was closed. Then I started receiving bills for the card in the total of *******. I have filed several disputes. I reached out to Medical Direct care on 05/28/24 to inquire why I keep receiving bills from the credit card company for this amount. Dr. ******************** told me that the card was used on 09/14/23 the day I enrolled in the program for labs that I was not aware of at all; that the card was charged that day. Like I said I received the card in the mail after 09/14/23 with a full balance of *******. I just found out on 05/28/24 that the card was used on 09/14/23. They claim that the card was used for labs for a hormone test and cologuard test that I did not use. It was supposedly in a starter packet they sent home with me. I have not received a receipt for this lab that supposedly cost ******* and I surely did not authorize for the card to be used on that day. My understanding was that the card was coming to me in the mail and that I can use it for medical needs or to pay for the wellness program which I did not complete I withdrew from the program less than a month after I enrolled because of my financial situation changed. I did discuss that with *** and Mrs. ******************** on how I could not complete the program because I couldnt afford it. I did make a payment to them of I believe ***** a couple of weeks into the program. The credit card company wants me to pay for a card I didnt use.

    Good morning and thank you for getting back in touch I have attached a supposedly receipt from Medical Direct which in part it does not state or show that the credit card was used on that date. As you can see I chose option 3 no money down I did apply for a credit card through care credit, synchrony back on 09/14/23 and medical direct claim that the card was used that day but I received the card in the mail with the full balance of ****************************************************************************************** anything to show that the card was used on 09/14/23 they told me to get it from medical direct and the attachment I am sending is what they sent to me. Again I contacted the credit card company in October of 2023 and and canceled the card because I was not using it and it was confirmed that the card had not been used when I canceled and now they are saying that it was and I am trying to figure out why would someone close an account if there is an unpaid balance like I said on my credit report it shows that the account was closed in October of **************************************************************************** authorize any one to use. And the credit card company will not issue me a credit card statement and I have a dispute with them now I also attached a document with there contact information and one of the letters they sent me. She has not sent in lab samples yet.  Informed he that she needs to have appt with me and turn in lab kit for me to determin how much refund to give.  Client does not know when she will return the lab kits because her car is broken. WP payments directly to MDC were stopped. (GMF)

    Thanks I did speak with  **** Fryer about the account and the labs I explained to him that I moved and am not certain where the lab kit may be. Also at this point, Im not looking for a refund I only paid them ***** out of pocket but it does not explain the 1500 dollar charge for care credit that keep coming after me for a charge I did not authorize the day I applied for the card which was 09/14/23 I was not informed that the card would be charged on that day. Now when I canceled the card a month later the 1500 dollars was still on the card and synchrony bank/care credit canceled the card and closed the account. No one seems to want to produce a statement for this so-called charge with an authorized signature. I did not use the card I canceled it the credit card company did not tell me the card had been used when I canceled it I just found this out last month that it was supposedly used on 09/14/23. If I had used the card and made this so-called charge to medical direct care why would the credit card close the account with an unpaid outstanding balance? That part does not make sense to me. I am not paying for something I did not use or did not authorize no one to use. Like I previously said the card was canceled and account closed after they claim the card was used on 09/14/23 the card was canceled and closed in 10/23 not sure the exact date.
