    Business Response

    Date: 04/23/2025

Ms. ***** and all parties that participated in the brigading attack against our business were, indeed, banned from our ******** Page. We also conducted a public records search after Ms. ***** contacted the Rescue expressing interest in adoption. Public records checks are a standard procedure as part of our adoption screening process. The concerted attack on our organization from Ms. ****** her family, and an employee of the local animal shelter was not going to be tolerated so we squashed the situation by banning everyone involved.

If Ms. ***** wants our taxes "looked into," then she is free to do so herself at **************************************************************************** by opening the "Transparency" tab and reviewing our Forms 990 and our Statements of Activity. For her convenience, I have also attached our most recent (2024) Form 990. Part IV will show her that, in fact, no one profits from our non-profit organization's operations. Schedule O will show her that we spent $26,151 on ********************* in 2024.

Ms. ******* complaint is baseless and it is our belief that Ms. ***** is attempting to weaponize the BBB complaint process to cause harm and damage to the reputation of our organization.
