    It is sad to report the neglect of customer service and low quality of product. I and my family have previously made purchases from Scott's for many years. That will cease.
    A purchase was made of a manual leather recliner for my husband who had moved to a care facility. Immediately, there were challenges of the chair reclining. Within a week delivery, I went to the store to let them know the chair was not working. Facility workers can verify. I was told by Scott's management no exchanges or returns and they would send someone to look at the chair. That took two weeks and their report was labeled "user error."
    I called the store and asked about reviewing the matter to look at options and was told one of the two service managers would give me a call. There was never a return call.
    I do not consider paying a sale price of $1,000 for a single chair an inexpensive purchase. Only six months after purchase and the leather is breaking down and peeling on the arms. Unbelievable!
    Through this process, I learned from friends that they experienced problems with their purchases from Scott's. So for me and my extended family, there will be no more purchases from Scott's.
