    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

Most of what he responded was completely false. I am the one who told the technician not to come after I asked if I was going to be charged for the repair. After he informed me I would be charged, I then asked him for the managers name and number. He told me the manager was ***, not ****. The original technician did not tell me to not to overload the washer, he told me my washer was fixed and I should get several more years out of the washer. I did not and do not overload a washer. I am 57 years old and know how washing machines work. The washing machine was bought brand new and I used it for over 5 years before a problem came up. Before that the washer I had lasted over 10 years. The only “threatening” I did was to tell him I was not satisfied with what he was telling me and I would give reviews based on my experience. I feel they should fix the washer or give me a refund.

    Sincerely,

    Business Response

    Date: 04/05/2024

We performed a service for Mr. ***** ****** on 12/08/2023.  The service consisted of replacing a drive hub on a ****** clothes washer.  The total cost for repair was $208.51. At the time of service the technician advised to be careful not to wash too large of a load at a time as that could cause further damage to the machine.  The unit was tested and all issues had been resolved and working properly. The service call came with a 30 day part and labor guarantee.  ****** called three months later in March of the following year to schedule service for the washing machine stating it had the same symptoms as the last time it had been serviced.  She was disappointed that she was having an issue with her washer.  I explained to her that she was well past the 30 day part and labor warranty however we could still schedule service for her with a $79.99 diagnostics charge to see what the problem was.  ****** was also informed that there are several possibilities of failure that can show these same symptoms and that a technician would have to physically diagnose the machine.  ****** felt like she should not have to pay for this seperate service diagnostic fee even though she did understand she was out of her guarantee period.  Understanding ******** frustration as the manager I even offered that after she paid the diagnostics if the same part had failed that was previously replaced I would be willing to provide the part free of charge she would only have to pay the diagnostics.  Even with this consideration ****** became very irate and threatening.  Due to her threatening language ****** was informed that we would not be able to send a technician to her house.
