    In 2019 we paid Burell Roofing $12,720 to re-shingle our roof. In 2021, we had a leak around our chimney and paid them another $800 for correcting. On 1/24/23, we once again had a leak around the chimney. This time Burell’s person said it was from our chimney cap (he provided pictures) and from improper flashing (substandard overlap that could cause leakage during driving rains). We received an invoice for $381.90 on 2/13/23. When I called the owner to question why the flashing was not covered under the work his company did incorrectly, he responded that it was not their problem, even though they replaced my entire roof in 2019 and again did repair work in the same area 2 years later. On 3/9/23, less than 20 business days after receiving the invoice, the owner threatened to put a lien on our house if not paid in full. We have now learned during the 1/24/23 visit they didn’t repair anything, only took pictures and charged us $381.90. We have since had our chimney cap repaired by another company at a cost of $150.00.
    Until this run in with the owner, the others we have dealt with have been courteous, professional and on-time. Very disappointed the owner didn't stand behind their work, threatened a lien, and gouged us on price even after already paying him over $13K. We will not be using nor recommending them again.
