I am rejecting this response because: when I called to order the Tremec TR-4050,  they asked me what it was going into and I told  American Powertrain it was a 1986 K1500 4x4 with a 208 transfercase.  American Powertrain should have informed me at that time that they did not have anything for the 208 transfercase, but they did not, Yet they did sell me the 205 adapter that was almost 500 dollars, and sold me the transmission for over $3000. Sure did take my money.  Very shady business practices to not inform customers. I did also go back and re- read the web site and as I stated it only identifies the 10 spline 205 that they do not have the 27 spline adapter.  Please go read it yourself, you may come to the same conclusion. I have never denied their claim, after the fact telling me they did not want to make an adapter. That was in the original claim. Obviously this company has done this as an ordinary practice. Maybe I should seek an attorney  for FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. They need to be VERY CLEAR on their website about not having anything for the 208 and the 203 transfercases. My question is, How many other customers have had this same issue and is this a standard for the company.

    Sincerely,

**** ****** look at there web site they do not mention this at all. I have a paperweight of a transmission. Nobody makes the adapter. *** had me contact advanced adapters for a remedy and they told me they could do nothing for me.

Our site clearly lists what it fits. Sales **** also explained this to the customer. We cannot make an adapter for this kit at the moment. We have screen shots of our site clearly listing this and a copy of his sales order listing what it fits. The customer can also go and find the appropriate transfer case to complete the install via a salvage yard or **** to recover his installation.
