    Bought a TV ************** Fireplace off of an ad on ******** the company was called Quote in ******** on 01-17-23 when merchandise didn't arrive on the 27th I tried to look them up by the ad and they had already deleted it called credit card and they had been paid so canceled credit card got new one then called credit card company for a dispute on this charge was $98.00 now they say they need more information I don't have any information except the company name and the state where they was supposedly locate tried to ****** all Quote company in ******** couldn't find them tried my ******** purchases and shows nothing on the company tried ******** ads I had been looking ******** ad not there could you please help me one more thing the cost of fireplace was $70.00 and shipping and handling $28.00 I think I've been scamed

    This is clearly a complaint filed against the wrong company. We are a roofing and gutter company out of ******* called Direct Home Quote and we do not sell products or other services outside of that. We do not have a location in ********, nor have we ever. The company has one word in their name that is similar to our company name, but that does not make us the same. Unfortunately for this lady, we are in no way associated with the place she attempted to buy this merchandise from and thus we are unable to help remedy her situation. I've tried calling the phone number listed (3) times now on 03/22/2023 at 1:10pm CST and no one has answered or returned the call. I'd recommend her searching ********** Secretary of ****** Business Filing Website to try and find/ contact the company she's looking for.
