      On February 19, 2025, my father contacted and paid $787 to Action Bail Bonding, Inc. to secure my release from the ******************. We were only given a handwritten receipt with no formal documentation, despite the significant amount of money exchanged. Later that evening, we were told I could not be released without an ankle monitora requirement that was never court-ordered and never mentioned by my attorney or the jail.When we asked the bonding agent, ******* *****, about the ankle monitor on 02/27/25, she quickly denied knowing anything. However, I have written evidence showing that a monitor installation had been coordinated by ***, and it appeared to originate from the bonding process.Additionally, a license search with the ******************************** and Insurance did not show any active license for this company or its agent. I am extremely concerned that this business may be operating without proper state licensure and engaging in misleading or predatory practices. I am requesting an investigation, a record of this complaint on file, and consumer warning to others who may be vulnerable.I am requesting a full investigation into the business practices and licensing status of Action Bail Bonding, Inc. I would like a formal acknowledgment that the business either holds or does not hold a valid license, and that its representatives are properly trained and regulated. I am also requesting a written apology and a refund of the $787 I paid, as the service was misleading and lacked proper documentation.If the business is found to be operating without a valid license, I request referral to the appropriate state agency for further enforcement.
