First they sent out a “salesman” who said we can remodel your dad’s bathroom for $18000. This included a pocket door and a larger sink. So sign contract and pay a third of the amount so $6300. A few days later a gentleman came out and no can’t do the larger sink or pocket door. The contract does state no refunds on deposit, but the “salesman” said because your dad is a Vet and in poor health if something happened they would refund the money. Before I canceled one of their employees said they hadn’t bought any of the supplies. I ended having to cancel because my dad was admitted to long term care. Well because the contract states no refunds on deposit they made $6300 for nothing. Now I don’t know how their work is and they are nice to talk to, but I would just think they could have given some (if not all) of that money back. So if you use them be fully aware they do not back what they say other then no refunds. I will also say that I don’t understand much about contracts and construction and this might be totally the way every construction company does. Just be sure you will have no reason to change your mind when you sign that contract!

We contacted them because our insurance told us to find someone fast who could dry out a leaking refrigerator. They were in our home for 13 days and charged our insurance over 9k in drying damages. They offered to do an estimate FOR FREE for the repair to the house. They never sent us the estimate and instead tried to get our insurance to work directly with them and get the insurance to bypass us the owners. After over 2 months of back and forth and us telling them every conversation that we werent sure if we were going to use their company. They told us we would be responsible for 10 percent of the job they estimated. That we never contracted for them to do. When we decided we didn't like the company's business practice and decided ultimately we would not use them, we recieved a bill for over 2k for nothing. They sent us the bill 4 DAYS AGO and have threatened a lein against our house for repairs They didn't do and repairs we never contacted them for. Do not use this company They will steal money from you. They are fraudulent

What is surprising here is that they were happy with the drying job we did, how thorough we were and that we stayed until everything was dry!

We contracted to do the repair work and write the scope of work and negotiate with their insurance carrier for repairs.  There is no ambiguity about the process or that we do NOT estimate repair work for free as its a long process to get things approved with their insurance carrier.

In our contract we have a 10% penalty if they cancel work after we get approval which is exactly what happened here, the email chains prove that the day we got approval for repairs agreed with their insurance carrier they sent an email trying to cancel the contract.  We gave them 10 days to pay the 10% they owed and they hemmed and hawed that they may still use us but they weren't sure.  They finally said they wouldn't use us and we sent them an invoice for the cancellation fee and they delayed on paying it so we sent them a notice of intent to lien their property.  They paid the invoice at that time and then left us this complaint and the poor google review.  What they fail to tell the public is that this is all documented in writing and recorded phone calls.

The invoice was sent for cancellation on 10/09/2023, reminder and notice of lien was sent on 10/13 and again on 10/17.  They paid the invoice on 10/17 after the close of business.

It would be nice to settle this without complaints, we got them far more money for the repairs than their insurance carrier was offering and they didn't have to do anything to fight for the more money.  We would have been happy to just complete the work as well but they want to profit from this process.

Everything the repair people told us was a lie. The drying process and staff were perfect. Absolutely amazing and I would have paid top dollar if that crew did the work.
But from the moment PJ walked into my house he was pushy and confusing and made sure I signed a paper about the lein with insane fine print. And when I asked him about it he said oh "don't worry! That's if you don't pay. And I said okay WE ARE NOT COMMITTING AT THIS TIME. He said yes correct, it was just to get the estimate going." Then my husband read the paper and emailed PJ immediately and asked for clarification and PJ then said don't worry. There is only a lein if you don't pay for the repairs not if you don't decide to use the company.
We still needed an estimate. So I signed. Insurance required it. Over 2 months and we never received an estimate with any monetary values to each item just a total and no break down of repairs that were told NEEDED to be done per PJ. We would have been happy to have this company do the repairs if there was any clarification whatsoever on what was being done for the outrageous total we were being given. No breakdown of how they would fix flooring. Or cabinets or wall Just a total with very vague items. My husband didn't like that we didn't have a breakdown and told them over and over again he wanted a breakdown. Email chain and all. Every single conversation we had we said we weren't committed. Wouldn't sign contracts but yet somehow we were committed. For your company to insinuate that we went to a cheaper contractor is insulting at best. This is our home we would pay over and beyond if it is worth it and we trusted the company.

I contacted this company for black mold remediation. Their original estimate was $4,000. They did not inform me when they were going over the original estimate. Their final came in at $13,711.15. Insurance only paid $7,964.45. I had to pay $4,289.00 out of pocket. I was given 5 days to pay this amount or they were putting a lien on my house. I had to get a loan to pay them so there would not be a loan on my home.
