    Extremely poor quality and unprofessional customer service!
    I purchased and had an exterior door with a pet door installed this past March. From the moment the door was installed, I knew the pet door was extremely poor quality and shoddy construction. The pet door began letting in the rain onto our hard wood floors, and now our floors are damaged. The locking mechanism is so badly made that my cats can push the door open when it is locked. The magnets that are supposed to keep the door closed, have fallen off several times and now are not working at all. As a consequence, the door remains open most of the time. I spoke to **** ***** who installed the door and they said they would contact Masonite as the door is under warranty with the manufacturer. After a month, I had to contact Masonite directly and the person I spoke to was very unprofessional and unhelpful. I was told that Masonite would not replace the whole door (which is what I was hoping for as the pet doors they use are worthless pieces of junk) but instead would send me another pet door so that I could replace it myself. I explained that I can not replace the door myself and that I am not paying someone to do their job for them. The person tried to tell me that Masonite do not have installers even though they had installed the pet door when it was made. Sounds like they are just trying to save some money. I was then told that **** ***** should install the new pet door as they installed the exterior door! No! **** *****  DID NOT install the pet door; that was Masonite! After spending hundreds of dollars on a new door, I now have to spend more of my money to get it fixed! I would NOT recommend doing business with this company. If I could, I would give it zero stars.
