  In June of 2021, I dropped off 2 pieces of artwork for framing at Make Your Mark on 100 Chuch St, Dickson **. Both pieces were paid for upfront (card card statement can be retrieved) One of the two items was finished in roughly a month's time, the timeframe I had been given. Upon stopping to pick up this piece I was told the second of the two may take a little longer. I agreed to this. In early August of 2021, I learned that the business suffered some damage to the show floor in flooding but was assured my piece was not affected, I would receive it soon. I called the store and attempted to make contact with the owner, ******* again around Christmas of 2021- I still had not received my item. I did not received a call back. When I decided to stop in the physical storefront in February 2022, a sign was posted on the door with a phone number to call for questions, which I later found out was a cell phone number. I was told at that point via text that the store had been backed up around Christmastime but that everything was cut and ready for my piece, it only needed to be put together but should be ready within a week. I waited a couple of weeks for ******* to contact me but heard nothing. Since February of 2022, I have made a monthly attempts via voicemail, text, and one website email to contact the owner - but have had no response whatsoever, no attempt at returning my calls/texts or reaching out to me by the owner - until last Friday, 6/17/22 when I texted once more, alerting the owner that I felt contacting the *** was my last resort. He responded with "Hi ******". I have replied a handful of times since then, to little to no response, with no mention of my piece by the owner and avoidance of my questions. A year later, I request a refund of the payment made to the business upon drop off (roughly $***) and my item returned, whether completed or not. I am unable to make contact with the business.

  Consumer Response /* (450, 16, 2022/07/26) */ To whom it may concern, Make Your Mark Framing Co DID reach out to me briefly during the middle of last week, and again yesterday (Thursday, 6/24) afternoon. I was able to make contact with the owner finally, and did in fact receive my item just this morning. After 6 months of no response from the owner, he did meet with me this morning. This claim can be closed.
