    In early August of this year my blower (aka squirrel cage) stopped working on my roof-top air conditioning unit on my 2008 motorhome. I Contacted Dover RV and **** (owner) came out a few days later to access the issue. My initial diagnosis was correct, that the ** compressor was working but the blower had seized up. I was simply asking that the blower be replaced, but **** explained to me that it would probably be difficult to locate new parts given the age of the motorhome and he didn't think he had a used blower unit in his shop that would fit. He recommended an entirely new unit.....and I had no problem with that, but all I asked is was that the NEW unit provide heat as well as air conditioning. He said he could order a new ******* heat pump/** unit for around $1600, plus a new thermostat made for HP's plus labor. He also told me that he needed the money up front because he had been stuck ordering new units before and then the customers backing out, and with Dover RV being a local business for several years, I had no issues doing this. So, I gave **** $2400 cash, he gave me a receipt and I waited......and waited......and waited.....several weeks past with no calls updating me. When he finally showed up un-announced Friday, 2nd of September to install the unit (a unit). I offered my assistance, but he asked me to stay out of him and his helpers way, so I did.....I wished now I watched him. Long story shortened, what he installed was an old, rusted, dirty used unit that the heat doesn't even work on.....I don't even think its a heat pump. When he finally called me back on Labor Day after me calling, emailing, and texting him, he fed me story about how his helper must have grabbed the wrong unit and it was all an accident......like he couldn't tell the difference when he installed it ?!?! To say the least he has not replied to any of my subsequent calls, text's or voice mails.....surprise - surprise. No honor.
