On 5/3/2025, I drove from *********, ** to *****, ** to pick up my 80-year-old mother. I then drove her to Nissan of Dyersburg in Dyersburg, TN with the intent of purchasing a 2021 Nissan Kicks (VIN *****************). As shown on the attached documentation, the listing price is $15,000.00. Therefore, we intended to begin negotiating based on that listing price. However, after my mother made clear her intent to pay with cash, the manager, **** ******, stated that the price had to increase to $19,000.00 since she was not financing the vehicle or trading in another vehicle. **** ****** said there is a disclaimer on the website stating that the price would increase without financing or trading in. Per the attached documentation, which is a screenshot of the Nissan Kicks on the website that has been converted to a PDF, there is no such disclaimer. Another salesman that was in the room, ** *****, stated that the Nissan website was 'messed up' nationwide and that none of the prices on vehicles were correct. **** ****** appeared to act exasperated, and within minutes, said that he could 'let the vehicle go' for $15,000.00, which was the listing price. Since $15,000.00 was the listing price, we obviously had intended to start negotiating at that price, not $19,000.00.**** ****** and ** ***** clearly demonstrated predatory sales practices in what appears to be an attempt to scam my 80-year-old mother. Needless to say, we left without purchasing the Nissan Kicks.

    To whom it may concern,

We sincerely apologize for the way business was conducted between Nissan of Dyersburg and Mr. ******** mother. It was never our intention to manipulate this 80 year old woman. We did offer the car deal at $15,000 as stated before they decided not to pursue the deal further. Our goal is to make sure all customers are happy and satisficed. We would love to make this right with the customer. Again, we apologize for the ********************************* and hope we can be given another chance to take care of this customer.

Had the car for 3 weeks and it started messing up. Paid $500 to be checked out and was told mice ate wiring harness. Worked for one week and then it quit accelerating, cruise control, and airbag/engine light came on. (Same issues that were happening previously.)Paid $140 today to have it checked out. Was told someone crawled under my car and made a clean cut to one of the wires underneath the car. They were the last ones to even touch anything on the vehicle. Now theyre trying to charge me again. I believe they sold me the car from the get go already damaged. I live out in the country with little to no activity anywhere.
