      Approximately 7 months ago a glass pane from our Iron Lion door cracked. I contacted Iron Lion and they sent out a very nice technician to make a template of the broken glass. Iron Lion then called and told me that to replace the glass it would cost $1724 and change. I agreed. They told me that it would take between 15 to 20 weeks to get the new glass. I called in December check on the progress of the project and was told the glass was in and that the project would be completed by the end of January 2025. On 4 February 4, I called Iron Lion again and reminded them what I had been told. I was told that the door probably would not be repaired in February because of the caulk they use. I requested to speak to a manager. Later that day I received a call from Iron Lion that the repair would be done on Friday, February 7. Later they moved the date to February 6. The same technician and a helper came to my house to install the glass. The glass that was ordered was too short. The technician stated that Iron Lion had lost the template that he had made and they had not ordered enough glass. I now have a door with both glass and wood. Later that day a manager called to apologize for the mistake. I don't remember if his name was ****** Curley, or ***. He stated that they would need to order new glass. I wanted to know how long it would take to get the new glass. He didn't have an answer. I also requested to know what kind of discount I would get for the gross mismanagement and horrible customer service. He stated that he would need to talk to the owner before he could answer that question. I have not gotten a response. If it will be another 15 to 20 weeks to get the new glass, this project will be completed in about 1 year. This is totally unacceptable for the quoted price. Please help me achieve an equitable compromise.Dr. ***** Bruce *****
