  I hired Jared to replace the flooring on a balcony at my house from wood to a composite. Once the wood was removed, the flooring was spongy and he told me I needed to have the roof replaced and recommended I use his contractor. I wanted to get other bids but he told me he would only work with his contractor who was very expensive. Jared told me he needed a decision within 24 hours so he could move forward with my project or move on to something else. The entire process was extremely stressful. I had to have the balcony railing redone and had to get approval from my homeowner’s association. He told me I needed to go through his iron railing contractor. The extra charges continued to add up. I decided to have Jared do the work and I regret it. I noticed within a year that one of the feet of the iron railing would not fit around the post and broke apart. I also noticed that the composite flooring looked wavy. I called Jared several times a week and left messages. One of the floor boards cracked on the end of the balcony. Finally, I called and he answered the phone and I was able to talk to him. He said he would come to my house. He came and looked at the balcony and said he could replace the cracked board and that it wasn’t a big deal. He didn’t think the boards looked wavy. He said he would come back out and do the work but never did. I tried to call him and he would never call back. My husband tried to call and left messages. There are 2 main iron posts that are bulging now. I think there is a problem with the roof. I finally got through to him and I told him about the bulging posts and that there was a big problem. He said he would try to find time to come out and look at it and thought that it would cost approximately $15,000 to repair and that would be his charge at cost. He said I was out of warrantee. I told him he never returned my calls and is unreliable. I do not trust him and would never recommend him.
