Landmark Recovery cares more about profit than helping your loved one. My son used $10,000 left to him
by his grandmother when she passed to get into Landmark for the 1st half of a 35 day program only to be told on day 3 of detoxing that the facility was going to be shutdown and he had to leave. The VP and case manager of the Las Vegas facility told him and myself that he could either transfer to their Colorado facility or get a full refund and select another rehab company.
Because we lived in CA we decided it would be best to get the refund and move him to a CA facility. Long story short they refused to refund our $10,000, would not return our calls and refused to give me contact info for their CEO. Shame on you for taking advantage of a patient and putting him out on the street while still detoxing and steeling $10,000. Thankfully we had the means to help him and he was able to find a rehab that really cares, unlike Landmark!! Again, shame on you for taking our $ and putting my son in such a dangerous situation.

My 29 year old daughter died on August 28,2023 while in their detox unit at the Firelands of the Praxis by Landmark Recovery location in Willard,Ohio. This recovery center and the organization is no place for your loved ones.
Just a month prior to her death Landmark Recovery lost their licensure in the state of Indiana due to multiple deaths in their faculties and patient care concerns and practices. They were required to shut down THREE facilities in Indiana as a result of the license being revoked. Unfortunately they continued to operate in Ohio and my daughter’s died under their watch. As of the date of this submission her death is under criminal investigation by the city and state licensing board.

I brought my son to the landmark treatment center thinking he was on some kind of drugs from the way he was acting, my grandson had passed away and my son had been hiding the truth that he was having a nervous breakdown that had effected his mind to the point he was seeing things and acting out from what he was seeing. I took him to this landmark in north Oklahoma City. They told me he would be safe. They gave him a drug test that came back to nothing much at all. My son told me the place was very dirty and so was the bed they gave him. My son was able to walk out of that place and leave after only been there for 2 hrs. They called me and said he broke out and ran. They didn’t even go looking for him. They had no problem taking the 10k dollars four of my account even though my son was at the wrong facility. I told them he was hospitalized for his condition and it was just his mind was unable to process the loss of his son. I’m not sure why they feel it’s ok to still take someone’s money like this when it’s clearly not something they are equipped to handle.

I am writing this review on behalf of my boyfriend, who did a 35 day inpatient stay at Landmark Recovery center in Seymour, Tn. Upon discharge my boyfriend's -3.75 OU ***** Rx sunglasses were "missing". A male employee assured us that another female employee (who was conveniently not at work that day) locked my boyfriend's Rx sunglasses "in an extra safe spot so they would not get stolen". This male employee also assured me that if the Rx sunglasses were not found, Landmark Recovery would be responsible for replacing these sunglasses. I reached out to the facility FOUR times before I even got an actual response from anyone. 2.5 months after discharge I finally receive an email from the executive director, Levi S******, stating that my boyfriend's Rx sunglasses were "never signed for or documented during intake" THIS IS A FLAT OUT LIE. I watched the employee take every single card out of his wallet & take photos of each card. I WATCHED THIS EMPLOYEE TAKE A PHOTO OF THE ***** RX SUNGLASSES ON HER IPAD UPON INTAKE!!! The executive director, Levi S******, refuses to correct the mistakes of his employee & replace this $300 pair of Rx sunglasses. This facility has received thousands of dollars for my boyfriend's 35 day stay & this is how they treat their patients after discharge. I was also told by an employee that my boyfriend was discharged on 1/19/23, when in fact he was actually discharged on 1/25/23. THERE IS CLEARLY A DOCUMENTATION ERROR AT THIS FACILITY. A DOCUMENTATION ERROR THAT THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR REFUSES TO CORRECT. These Rx ***** sunglasses were checked in & then stolen while they were supposed to be "locked up in the safe". Good luck to the thief on trying to see clearly out of -3.75 lenses. Aside from this issue, this I would not send my dog to be "taken care of" by these people. My boyfriend had to beg for towels & to shower. The employees would not turn the heat on when it was 11 degrees outside in December/January.

Landmark Recovery Has many scams and frauds going on at this particular location. It starts with the call center where they will tell you that there are melodies at the center that do not exist as well as they try to get you to put money down, They start with $250 if you disagree they'll put you on hold and say they got you a proof for a 100. If you then disagree they will let you in with no money. They will tell you that there are no beds available when in reality be in the facility there are beds available but they want you to put your money down and get in as fast as you. They do withhold the fact that you can take your medication but if you have any medication that is a narcotic they instantly take it away from you. They do not let you know that you have to bring your own cup to drink out of if you want water or if you want coffee coffee coffee coffee is not provided. They do not disclose that if you are to leave the facility that they keep your property for 24 hours although I did not allow them to do so they did lose my purse and I have yet to receive a call that was promised to me. Not myself as I did not have an addiction but was promised there would be Allenon programs. I set in the lobby for 8 hours although I was 30 minutes early for chicken I took care of sick patients in the lobby because they were understaffed and too busy rebuttaling people in other rooms to keep them in the facility. People coming in under the influence of hainfluence of heroin mev fetinal serious alcoholics and they are signing paperwork but yet they do not remember signing the paperwork after the fact and once they're locked in. The call center will ask you after 7 to 10 days if you're willing to stay longer as if they think you needed would you be willing if you say yes or maybe that right there is a trick question and they lock you in. I had a nurse practitioner that could not find a way to keep me in but said well let's try different questions or insurance will not pay .
