      I purchased a used Tesla in October of 2023. I noticed a squeaking but did not realize it was a serious issue. I brought the car in today (12/10/24) to learn that both upper and lower rocker arms had failed. I've driven the car ****** total miles since purchase. This car was sold to me in poor condition and I was clueless. There were several problems I brought the car in for shortly after purchase but when I arrived the appointment info had mysteriously disappeared. Today they have no record of the squeak concerns. You can see that the control arms are badly damaged and I have only driven ****** miles. The total mileage is ****** in this car and control arms should last ****** to ****** and Tesla is aware that this year of Tesla (2018), had from the factory- faulty control arms. Further the ****** mile and one year warranty was backdated to July of 2023 not from the date of my purchase. Also when I asked to speak to the supervisor at the dealership, ****** the service manager refused to give me a name and instead suggested I contact a person in **********. He provided me with an email. Finally upon reviewing my paperwork after the check had cleared I learned this car had been wrecked. It was not disclosed to me prior to the purchase or I would not have bought this vehicle.
