    A request for ************ was made. The account was removed from the MyHealthOne portal. No ************ approval letter was mailed, as has previously been the case. However, a ************ application was mailed. This is very confusing.

    Husband had surgery 7/13/22. They have filed insurance in the wrong name at least 3 times. Then they filed in correct name with wrong primary. I have over 40 hrs of calls trying to get this corrected. They said they have filled this numerous times since yet the insurance company has not gotten it. My insurance company has called them numerous times also trying to get this corrected. Bill is over $3000. which my insurance company will pay since we have completed all deductibles for the year. I have asked for a copy of filing so I can send certified but they refuse. People are polite on phone yet they have not resolved it. I have left messages for call backs from supervisors hoping to get help but they dont return call or say they will look into it and never call back.

    Not sure if my filing to BBB did the trick or my emails to CEO &CEO of **************** but they finally reviewed my case and resent claim. Turns out they were sending to wrong place even though my insurance company and myself asked about numerous times. Claim showed up yesterday to my insurance company and is being processed. Took 9 months to get straightened out.

    In July I received a bill for $1870.52 from Parallon for my hospital stay at ************** Hospital. I called immediately upon receiving my bill and I asked the woman on the line if I could get a discount if I paid the entire amount today. She said yes that she could give me a 25% discount. I agreed and paid $1402.89. In October I received a collections notice from Medicredit for $467.63. I was unsure as to where this came from and after calling Medicredit I realized it was from my hospital stay in June. I was under the impression that I had already paid this and resolved. I called Parallon and after being transferred and hung up on several times I was finally able to speak to someone about the issue. The woman I spoke did try to help me and stated that she would note by account and send it to a "special teams" department. She told me to follow up in a week or two. I did follow up and was told that it was still being reviewed. I called again on 12/22/22 and was told that the "special teams" denied my request to have the account recovered from Medicredit and said they cannot do anything to the account once it is sent to collections. I was extremely frustrated because Medicredit does not give me any authority to request the account back to Parallon. Parallon sent me to a managers voicemail that I never received a call back from as well. Medicredit will report to the credit bureau on the 28th of December. I paid my bill on the date I received it and still got sent to collections and Parallon is not willing to correct their mistake nor take any responsibility for the issue.

    We have applied for financial assistance on a number of medical bills. 1 (#***********) of the 4 original bills was denied for over income while the rest were approved. On 8/1/2022, we received a letter advising to send a letter of appeal to contest the denial. In the meantime, we received another bill for services conducted on 7/7/2022 (#***********). We sent in a letter of appeal for account (#***********) as well as a new application for financial assistance involving account #***********. On 8/26/2022, we received notice that the letter of appeal for account #*********** was approved. Late September 2022, we received another bill for the remaining account #***********. I called Parallon to check on the status of our application. I was advised on 9/27/2022 that they never received a Financial Assistance application for that account. This statement is untrue as the request for FA was in the same packet as the letter of appeal for the account that got approved. The representative stated they would forward the application to FA. On 10/6/2022, I contacted Parallon to confirm that the paperwork was sent. The representative stated that it was. I received another bill mid-November and again contacted Parallon on 11/21 and spoke to ***** who stated that no application was sent to FA. ***** said that it appeared the letter of appeal and application for FA involving account #*********** was grouped together with the other applications, therefore it was overlooked. ***** stated she would send it to FA to be reviewed. I advised ***** that due to the lack of communication, I was going to call every week to confirm that the paperwork was actually sent. On 12/2, I contacted Parallon and was advised the paperwork was not sent to FA as no application was ever received. An application was received as it was with the same packet as the appeal for the account that was approved on 8/26/2022. The lack of communication and actions between representatives is absurd.
