      Ford Roofing charged $92. just to give an estimate for repair of a roof leak. I was not informed of the charge prior to the estimate. When I complained because I was not informed of the charge prior to the estimate, I was told I would receive a refund of the charge only if I opted to hire Ford Roofing to repair the roof.

      Considering we only provided this person with an inspection and quote for futher repairs, we believe it is very unfair to give us a 1* rating. She was billed our standard $95 inspection fee to diagnose her leak issue which is credited back on any further work done. Every customer that calls in is informed of the inspection fee and approves it before we set foot on the property. We would have loved to further repair this leak issue at a very poorly designed chimney, however the homeowner never approved us to do any further work.
