I needed a new water heater installed in a different location of my house, due to my previous water heater being in the crawlspace. There were some problems with making the change but Chris, Steve, and Michael problem solved the best way to do the install. They went above and beyond!
I had gotten referrals from customers who had purchased new water heaters through other dealers, and I found The Hot Water Heater Pros’ pricing to be fair, especially for the extra work that they did to make the install successful. They arrived on time and Chris and Steve made sure everything was cleaned up nicely before they left. I would definitely recommend this company!

This company is overpriced and does not have fair pricing. I supplied the part and they took less than one hour (2 men) to install my part on my existing water heater. The bill was $475. When I called to discuss the bill and asked them to convert my charge to an hourly charge with service call fee, they said it was a flat rate and current with industry standards. However, I called around and found other companies to install the part for $275. I wish I had known it was such a simple job prior. My water heater is now working but I feel they inflate prices to discuss or suggest switching the entire unit out.The Hot Water Heater Pros, LLC

Hi ****, we're so sorry you felt the need to leave us our first non 5-Star review. We take significant pride is providing excellent service to every one of our customers. Given that this is our first negative review ever I wanted to add some context.
We did provide the exact price of $475 before arriving to complete the job and you agreed to pay it before the work was done. Your water heater was actually older than what we normally work on, but we made an exception for you. We did recommend replacing the water heater and always do when they are over 10 years old. We've performed many repairs like yours (but not on units that old) and knew, with our expertise, that it would not be a long job. When you reached out to argue the price that we already quoted we left it as is because we know many companies would charge more than our price or not be willing to make the repair and you already agreed to pay that price. So, the price quoted to you before we came was the price you paid.
Also, you mentioned to us that other plumbers came out and were unable to make the repair. Not sure if those were the prices you mentioned in your review. We also have hundreds of reviews from customers who price shopped and said our price was great. In addition to that we do constant research to ensure our prices are fair or below market value.
I’m sure you know, working for a realty company, how damaging bad reviews can be. I believe your review is misleading and saying we stuck you with a bill instead of explaining to everyone that the price quoted is what we charged would be more fair. Especially since you agreed to that price before the work was completed.Review fromErin H

This company was very reliable, communicated well, arrived on time and finished the job within an hour and a half. Their price was below any other quote I received and they even registered the warranty for me. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a new hot water heater.The Hot Water Heater Pros, LLC
