Rented a pontoon for July 9, 2020. Due to the weather we were told that we had to reschedule., We have reached out to the owner several times to do just that. Every date that we have picked so far is unavailable. We told here we would take 7/23/2022. We were told unavailable, So on July 10 we told her any Saturday in August.. She told us 8/20.
Then she came back and said unavailable. Our work schedule will only allow us a Saturday and I told her that upfront. Finally on 7/28/2022 she said she never saw a date for us. WHAT? So now she said October. We paid for a prime week on May 26, 2022 and yes, that cost more. All this has been handled in a text because she refuses to answer her phone. We scheduled the boat rental in May. She knew she had an obligation to us because she already collected our payment in full and now refuses to honor those obligations.. At this point We would just like our money back, This women is rude and acts like everyone is trying to take her. We are not! The weather was so bad that she closed the marina down that weekend that we were supposed to use the pontoon. As a matter of fact those words came out of her very mouth. That she had been taken before. We would appreciate any help that you could give us. We have been trying to resolve this matter since July 9, 2020..

    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/13) */
I did not rent a boat to this lady. It was her son. Our website clearly states no refunds and only reschedule if less than 3 hours of "decent" weather that day. After she tried to reschedule days before and I refused, I finally gave in the morning of and said they could reschedule. Never did I say they had to reschedule.
There is no guarantee given for a certain day of the week. As you can see, they should have not been allowed to reschedule (website). She asked for a Saturday. I told her we were booked through Labor Day but had some Sundays available, she refused. She was not interested in rescheduling after the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. The marina was not closed on July 9th and I can prove based on our POS sales for the entire day if needed. I can't answer every phone call I get. In the summer months, that is impossible. I sometimes respond via text rather than delay until I have time to call. After listening to her tell me who all she knew at ***'s, the name of a judge she knows, and threatening to ruin my business via social media, I gave her my email address and asked further correspondence be by email. If **** wanted to check potential dates to reschedule, that's how it needed to be handled. I told her I was blocking her number as I was tired of listening to repeated threats and name dropping.

I never threaten her or name dropped. I do have text messages from her to prove the conversations that we had. And yes we did try to reschedule because of the weather. There was not 3 hours of good weather that day. We were not going to take a four year old out on the lake in that kind of weather!!! Storming and everything. She did not tell us she was booked through Labor day. I have a text stating August 20. Then a later text saying she was booked for that day. I also explained to her my son was having surgery after the week of labor day and worked on Sunday. This was told to her up front so yes we were interested. She is not interested in rescheduling us. She is holding our money and renting the boat out to someone else. I have heard really bad things about her and would not recommend to anyone to do business with her. I can prove they were closed or so her ******** page said so.Also she does not have our signature on a signed contract but we do have where she took the money out of his account or should I say stole his money!
