  Paid this guy 975 cash. And he still refused to let me get my husband's truck . Cussrd Me out on the phone. Made threats to shoot me if I showed up on his lot before 9 am. Told me he would burn the truck on his lot and would be nothing wr could do to him if it was a accident. Called her all kinds of nasty names. Hand wrote me a reciept on a piece of paper and now he says it is not his hand writing. He is now refusing to let us get the truck after we paid his worker 975.00 cash. And is holding our truck hostage. Told us he will now have us arrested if we show up on his lot. He is nasty and made some very race hatred remarks on phone to wife..I want my money back or the truck

  First of all this letter of complaint was supposed to have been written by a lady. As you can see , after reading the complaint you can see the words, (called her all kinds of nasty names),and, (he is nasty and made some very race hatred remarks on phone to wife). Sounds like a man to me.
  Here is what happened. The *** **** Police Department called us to tow a white 2021 Ram 1500 on 08.30.23. It had been ran off the roadway off highway 156 down into a wooded area and had hit a tree. It was just a few feet from the edge of the river and all the windows were rolled down. We could not get our rollback close enough to recover the truck so we called in a skid steer. The skid steer was able to recover the truck back to the asphalt highway. We then loaded it and hauled it back to our lot. Later on, in the early evening a man called and asked if we had his truck and we determined that the truck he was asking about was indeed his truck. He wanted to come pay the bill that evening with a credit card. I informed him that we did not accept credit cards as payment on police impounds. Also informed him that we were closed for the night and that he could come the next morning and bring proof of ownership with a matching ID. He could then pay the bill with cash and we would release the truck to him. Only a few minutes passed and he called back and said he had borrowed the cash and was coming to pay the bill and he wanted us to haul the truck to his house that night. I told him again that we were closed and that we would not be available until the next morning. He became very upset and at one time said he would put a bullet in my gut. He later went to my personal ******** page and wrote several things that were untrue. He wrote a complaint to **** that was completely untrue. I called the ****** ****** Sheriffs Department and reported these incidents to them. They made a report. He also said he was making three reports to you folks, the BBB, and said there were previous complaints on me concerning hateful race remarks. As you know that was a falsehood also.
  As far as the remarks this lady has made, I have never met her, talked to her, in person, or on the phone. She, nor her husband showed up that night. Neither showed up the next day or any day since. They have not paid me any money for anything. I only talked to the person that said he owned the truck.
  A few days later an insurance adjuster called inquiring about this same truck. He said this person only had comprehensive insurance and that the truck had been reported stolen. He asked about the bill. I explained it to him. He told me he was sending **** ***** ****** after the truck and that ***** would pay my bill. He said he was only paying my bill and ***** bill. ***** was to deliver the truck to the owners home in Dunlap TN. ***** did pay my bill and did pick the truck up. Since then I have heard nothing from the owner of the truck. I am going to send you a copy of the bill and a copy of the check stub where ***** paid me. I also have copies of the lies this person wrote on my ******** page as well as the **** complaint and my answer. Let me know if you have any more questions or concerns.
