    On December 16, 2022, I signed a contract with Tried and True Roofing to complete work on a second home. The contract states that the full balance is due on completion of the work. January 5th I received a text from the owner ****** ****** stating that materials had been ordered and that I was next in line. January 16th he text asking me to send some money for materials when he got me a start date. I issued a check to Tried and True Roofing through my bank. He claimed he never received it and asked me to send it through Paypal. His wife emailed and said that it needs to be through the friend's option so they don't have to pay fees.     I talked to *** ********** November 23rd 2022. I explained to her once I ordered materials where she lived out of town & I had not met her face to face I wanted a deposit. I told her send a check I would start her roof when I received it. Weeks went by I figured she didnt want me to do the roof I moved on. Then she claimed she sent a check. Her bank can see If I had cashed it .Why would she hire a person to work on her house not meet them? Its been 3 months i do work for people who have home here live all over the US they meet me, Only 2 hasnt I never got paid. No I am not paying fees to receive my payments. If thats the case the fees would be added in the cost of the job. I sent her payment back within minutes. I attached a screen shot to prove it. **** **** ** * ******* ****** ** *** **** *** **** ** ******** *********** *** ********** * ******* ***** *********** I am licensed, insured & carry workmans comp insurance witch is whats required in my area. Home Advisor checks all of that before listing a business. I have the right to refuse a job from a homeowner I dont trust. I have all of my messages between us.

    She was told do not send it through PayPal unless friends we are not & do not accept payments UNLESS fees are included in the price of the job. Why would we pay $240 to accept her 2 installments? She owes me for my time & materials I can't return because metal roofing is special ordered & cut to fit exactly. Intead of sending the requested deposit she was told to find another company but sent it anyway. She got back exactly what she sent me. Immediately started making untrue comments on every internet site. I can refuse to do any job i want to. Its simple find another company.
