  I invested over ten years ago due to the company's reputation for giving it to people straight without a bunch of bluff and bluster. I spread my investment out over a couple of projects, one of which hit. I have been cashing dividend checks ever since. When they first hit, it was looking like it would pay for the mortgage on my house forever! The checks are smaller now than what they had been in the past, but it's still paying out. I most appreciated the management's transparency in accommodating my visits to their sites prior to investing. This type of investment is not for everyone, but it adds a measure of diversity and direct investment you don't find in many other alternatives. The company has always been responsive to my inquires and forthcoming with the required tax reporting forms.

  I've worked with Hornet Corporation on several drilling ventures to date, and even though not all of them turn into producing wells, others have. Nevertheless, even the ones that came out as a dry hole still provided me substantial tax advantages. Great group of people! They sell their projects the right way, if anything, they may over sell the risk trying to scare people off. But I'd rather have that than someone overpromising and under-delivering.

  I invested about $30,000 with them in 2021. They drilled 3 different wells and got a dry tap in each one! So poof went my investment! Although dry wells are a risk, that's a pretty crappy record, to drill 3 and get a dry tap in every one. The track record they presented to me prior to investing did not show any such results. I would steer clear.

  We value this partner as we do all of our partners over the last fifteen years. Drilling for oil is risky and we obviously don't like dry holes. However, it is a part of the oil and gas business and every legitimate oil company drills dry holes. Fortunately, we drill in an area where one good well can take care of several dry holes. This partner invested with us in the fall of 2021. Even with the supply chain issues facing many sectors including the oil and gas industry, we were able to drill the wells in a timely manner. Our team has maintained continuous communication, supplying tax documents and correspondence. As recently as June of this year, we had spoken to this partner and handled a request he made. At that time, we wish he had let us know that in his view we were deserving of this one star rating.
