      on 02-23-23 I paid them 5,000.00 to get started ordering parts for my car repair. They claimed they would complete the car in 3 to 4 weeks.

      When I could get ahold of them, which was rare, they had excuse after another, long story short, after a year, they finally say they are done. Go to pick up car and could not accept.

      Paint runs, drips of clearcoat running off of panels, orange peel in the paint is terrible, headlights misaligned, parts missing from front of car and inside.

      They kept the car for another month, I accepted the car the second time as it was very obvious they could not fix the car.

      When I got the car back, it was filthy inside and under the hood (when the car was delivered it was detailed inside and out) and smells like paint fumes inside the car, gone is the new car leather smell.

      The headlights are still not aligned correctly along with very poor body panel gaps, and the headlamps don't work correctly, found some wiring that was left in the car and never replaced on the car.

      I rolled the driver window up and the glass pulled a wire up out of the door. Turns out when they removed the sidview mirrors, they just cut the wires (instead of unplugging) and just twisted the wire back together and used black tape that failed instantly.

      For whatever reason, the rearview mirror was apparently ripped from the car as it does not work correctly and the glove box mechanism was damaged.

      Because they had the car so long, they replaced the battery in the back (charged me for the new battery) and done more damage around that area.

      There is overspray on outside of car on trim pieces, some trim pieces were also damaged.

      If you like zero communication, not having your vehicle for over a year, and to recieve your vehicle in worse condition than you left it. This is the place for you.

      Extremely bad in everyway and now (12000 dollars later) I have to take it somewhere else to completely redo what they did and repair what they messed up.

      I'm sorry to hear that Auto Paint and Repair did not meet your expectations. We strive to ensure every customer is happy with their completed Auto Body Service.

      I want to address Mr. ******* stated he was told the 2011 Corvette will be ready for pick-up between 3-4 weeks. It was over 8 months before the fender could be located due to the age of the vehicle. Due to the age of the vehicle most of the parts were discontinued. Mr. ******* was contacted every step of the way concerning the progress of the vehicle. 

      Once Mr. ******* picked up the vehicle he acknowledged some concerns with the painting process however, all concerns were corrected and completed. 

      I received the final payment from Mr. ******* and he never voiced any other concerns. 

      After reviewing the complaint unfortunately a refund is not possible. The parts and paint labor alone exceed over $9,489.04. Mr. ******* has possession of the vehicle that is completely put together and in a driveable state.

      In the beginning, Mr. ******** claimed that he would not accept the car until he had all the parts ready which is why he delayed receiving the car initially. Once he said he was ready, I dropped off the vehicle.

      I would not have left the car there for 8 months if that was the case and by the way, it did not take 8 months to get the fender.

      “Age of the vehicle” statement is misleading as there is a huge number of these vehicles in circulation.

      The car was only in a fender bender and was in perfect running condition and the headlights worked as well when I dropped it off.

      Now the car has two different headlights and they don’t work correctly. I paid for two new matching GM headlights.


      The least Mr. ******** could do is to provide me with two matching GM headlights but I will not be letting them work on this vehicle again
       
      Mr. ******** has mislead me in the entire process when I could get ahold of him, most times, I hade to personally visit to get any updates.

      I hope that this message will be made available to the public so no one will get taken advantage of by Mr. ******** again.

      P.S. I have had several vehicles in my lifetime repaired at bodyshops and never felt the need to turn in a complaint. In fact, I have never filed any complaints in the past to the BBB for any business but this one is especially egregious.  

      The first 3 are for the headlight issue in particular. Notice the passenger side appears brighter for the outside running lenses. That’s because one is tinted and the other is not. This area is built into and sealed inside the overall headlight.

      Also, you can start to see the “orange peel” on the front end vs the hood.
