Blake told me I wasn't the Personal Representative and would not cash my check I brought in proof from Hamilton County Probate Court that I am the Personal Representative Blake and Scenic Community Credit Union does not know what a Personal Representative is period.

Scenic Community Credit Union (SCCU) was provided with Letters Testamentary of a Small Estate which reflected limitations to the Personal Representative’s powers. The SCCU staff requested a copy the itemized assets, as referenced in the Letters Testamentary, to ensure the Personal Representative’s request was within their assigned powers. The Personal Representative did not provide the requested documentation; therefore, a cashier’s check was issued to the estate of the decedent and was given to the Personal Representative. The Personal Representative made multiple attempts at different SCCU branch locations to cash the check. SCCU does not cash checks payable to an estate. It is standard practice for financial institutions to require checks payable to an estate to be negotiated through an estate account. SCCU may reissue the check, payable to the Personal Representative for the estate, when all required documentation is provided.Review fromF Lensa L

These people are liars and they are incompetent. Their online pay portals are terrible and do not work half the time. They tried to LIE and say that I had to pay 10 dollars for them to release my car title to the dealer I traded my car to. I'm pretty sure they opened up another account without my consent. DO NOT USE THESE LIARS FOR ANYTHINGScenic Community Credit Union

We apologize you are unsatisfied with our service. We did some research and see that the dealership had sent in a check that was not the full balance of the payoff amount that would include the interest for that pay off date. We tried to provide alternate options like reaching out to the dealership to pay the remaining balance but unfortunately that was not an option you wanted to move forward with.
