    • My complaint is Against Action Fence of Chattanooga, 6425 Hixson Pike Chattanooga TN ************.
    • We hired this company July 2022 to install a 6ft privacy fence
    • January 2023 our fence was severely leaning on the south side of our property & the 10ft gate was sagging & couldn’t be opened we notified Action Fence. When the installer came back for repairs, he replaced ½ of the post. We noticed the post were only in the ground 9-17 inches & concrete wasn’t completely around them. Gate was completely rebuilt.
    • March 2023 northside was severely leaning also including the 10ft gate was sagging for the second time.
    • The installer came back out to replace ½ the post on northside due to the post not being correct depth & concrete not being around all sides of post. The gate was rebuilt for the second time.
    • April 2023 We contacted Action Fence regarding the main gate for the third time. The remaining fence on both sides are leaning & the post are moving with slight pressure. We sent videos & pictures to support our claim.
    • Action Fence claimed they didn’t receive the videos or pictures & stated they can’t go forward until we send them, we immediately sent all again.
    • Next day we received an email “At this point we have replaced & done all that we will do on this project under warranty.Your aggressive actions toward our crews & staff, outburst,, shaking of post, misleading information, false & outdated pictures of work already replaced will no longer be tolerated. Please reframe from calling, emailing, or contacting in any form other than through legal counsel. If your actions continue we will be forced to take legal actions against you on our behalf.
    • If the fence was installed properly from the start this wouldn’t be a problem. They need to stand behind their product & do the right thing by replacing all post 24 inches in the ground surrounded by concrete. Also fix my gate so it doesn’t sag or have any gaps so my dogs can’t get outside the fence.

    To Whom it may concern.

Action Fence was contracted to do the installation of the fence for ** ******* on 6/23/22. Action Fence performed the work and the customer had no issues for 6 months. After high winds and storms went through we had some post come loose.  These post were replaced. After several more months tornados and 70 plus straight line winds tore through the Chattanooga and surrounding areas causing an enormous amount of storm damage. They reached out again about different sections. They where informed that it was storm damage and not warranty work. After complaints on their end we agreed we would take care of the issue. We done this again. ** *******'s partner started to shake post loose and was very aggressive with our installation crew so once the job was completed and everything was fixed our crew left. The gentleman then showed up to our office the following week saying they wanted more fence replaced. We informed him that everything that was damaged had been repaired. He then started showing us pictures (time stamped on his phone in Jan.). I let him know those where the before pictures and showed him where he had sent those in January (via text and email). He continued to show the same pictures from before the repairs and some during the repair. After confronting him with the facts on the dates he then said he would have to get new ones. The gentleman lied, tried to manipulate the situation, aggressively shook post before the concrete had time to set with our crew on site (causing us to have to reset them again) and much much more. We are now looking into a harassment and slander suit against them as we have witnesses of him deliberately trying to damage the fence along with being very aggressive in nature to our faculty and staff. Our final email to them was to ask that they please contact us through legal council as we no longer felt comfortable dealing with them with the aggressive actions toward us. In our opinion we not only fulfilled our contractual obligations but went beyond them with efforts to help them out. If any documentation is needed please feel free to reach out and we will get anything we can to help. Thanks,  Action Fence.

This is the second complaint I have had to Make on this company. they installed a vinyl fence less than a year ago at my home. it is still under warranty. I have had ongoing problems since the day it was installed. there is a crooked post that never got fixed that I told them about the day is was installed and now for the second time the latch on the gate is messed up. I have called more than once trying to get somebody out here. they tell me hopefully next week. I tell them that's fine no hurry but please keep me updated so that I know what's going on. they say no problem. week goes by. nothing I have to call back. they tell me to fill out this form they email me and send it back which i did. they once again tell me they will get me down and get back with me. its been 3 weeks now no word. they wont answer their phones and don't call me to let me know what's going on

    To whom it may concern,
Typically, any modifications made by the customer would void
any and all warranties, but we informed the customer that we would get someone
out to try and address the issues within the following week.  The Customer returned our punch list/callback
form on 9/7/22.  Within 2-3 working days
later we received a complaint associated with the BBB, the customer, and Action
Fence. At that time, we already had the customer on the schedule for a punch
    list/call back.
The customer agreed that all issues were resolved and needed
    no further action.

Good afternoon. Please see attached punch list signed and dated by Mr ********. We reset his post along with changing out hardware and gate latch as requested. He was not on sight but his wife came out and said everything looked great to her. We ask that she text us that confirmation and she declined and said her husband would have to do that. We tried to get something in writing to ensure this was closed out as we can not continue to come on site time and time again over issues that we could and would have addressed if notified the first time. Both issues that had been noted were addressed and resolved.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: your punch paper you forced me to sign before even coming out to my house.  as you can see its dated weeks before you even came out here. my wife may have told you every thing "looks" ok but the problem you left is a stripped screw as I told you about in the text that I had to send you. this is something that's not just going to be seen by just anybody. so there is still a problem and it was not fixed fully. the problem is still the latch. you even said you were going to talk to your boss and he would get with me. I am still waiting. this is warranty work. it should have been done right in the first place and it was not. if you don't want to keep coming out here fix it right the first time. if this warranty is not fixed it voids our contract and I want our money back

    Sincerely,
