    They did not pick up our garbage, so we cancelled our service. They come to pick up the can and DUMPED THE GARBAGE IN OUR DRIVEWAY. I called and left a complaint with no call back.

    When I first moved here (9/11/2021) I broke downs all of my moving boxes, stacked them neatly according to size, and put them next to the can. When the truck arrived I went outside to help the driver get them in the truck. He griped and complained the entire time. I let it go as a one-off and went on with my life. Today, 7/18/2023, after not having recycling service for a month due to July 4th holiday, we had quite a bit of recycling. We filled the canister up completely and then put the other small boxes inside bigger boxes. There was ONE box that had empty water bottles (a few of which were glass—our mistake) but the others were either broken down or contained smaller items that would not fit in the canister due to it being completely full, or would have blown away. There were six or seven small stacks of boxes with two broken down bigger boxes. Express Waste Solutions emptied the canister but took nothing else. When I called I explained we had a month worth of recycling and it would not all fit in the canister. I was told recycling was picked up on the 3rd instead of the 4th. I replied that I was not notified of this change that I never received a calendar. She said it wasn’t her fault I didn’t check the website. She continued that the boxes were not broken down and they were “full of glass”. This is a complete lie. One box had maybe three glass bottles, the rest of the bottles in that box were plastic. I explained the reason for the boxes not being broken down (they were holding paper, plastic, and cardboard items that would not fit in the canister since it was completely full) and she absolutely did not care. I am now looking for a new trash service and will no longer be recycling. This company does trash pickup in my areas on Mondays which are often holidays. They do not send a calendar, email, text—no notification of schedule changes except on their web page and apparently Facebook. I wish them the best of luck but they will be less one customer.
