I purchased a Family Lifetime Range Membership on March 4, 2019 for $1,500.00. The business changed owners a couple years ago. The new owner is not wanting to honor my lifetime membership. I spoke to the previous owner and was told it was part of the deal that the Lifetime Membership would be honored.

    Business Response

    Date: 08/08/2024

    My name is *** *****. I am
the General Manager for Shooters Supply, LLC in Hixson, TN.

I first met Mrs. ******** on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 when she
came into our business presenting a Lifetime Family Membership Card which she
purchased from the previous owner of the business.
I informed her that I would let her shoot and that I would
consult with the new owner as to how to handle this issue. She was never told
we would not honor her membership. She immediately became highly agitated to
the point of hysterics, lashing out with threats, complaints and harassment. I
had to ask her at least 3 times to stop yelling at me. Initially, for every
ones safety, because of her highly agitated mental state,  I was not going
to let her on the shooting range with a loaded gun in her hand and told her so.
Against my better judgement, I finally agreed to let her go downstairs and
    shoot.

Her girlfriend came into my office and explained that she was
going through some personal issues and was taking some medications that “made
her crazy”.  I decided to just honor her membership and asked Mrs.
******** to come into my office and talk with me. She absolutely refused,
    calling me an “*******”.

The following week her husband called me to explain her personal
situation. He was a real gentleman. He said the same thing to me her girlfriend
had said….. “She is taking some medications “that are making her crazy”. I
explained to him that I was willing to honor her membership, but because of her
mental state at our last meeting,  I needed to talk with her in person
before I was willing to let her in the store with a loaded gun..
A week later Mr. ******** came in to see me. Again, a perfect
gentleman. While he was here, she called the store at least 8 times ranting and
raving with more threats and insults. Eventually my staff would not answer the
phone. She then called her husband’s cell phone and demanded that he put me on
speaker and once again started yelling at me with the hysterics, threats and
insults. He just hung up on her. Other staff members were also listening to
    this one sided conversation

The following Wednesday, July 31st, Mrs. ******** called me,
initially acting very sweet. That lasted about one minute. I told her that I
was not willing to have this conversation over the phone and needed to see her
in person. This time I had put the phone on speaker so my entire staff could
hear the conversation. Once again, hysterics, yelling, and threats of legal
action to be taken against me and the store for sexual harassment and gender
discrimination came spewing out of her mouth. I hung up. She called us back
over 20 times. We would not answer the phone.

Mrs. ******** has also contacted my bookkeeper on her personal
phone with threats. These text messages are available.

The next morning I filed a police report against Mrs. *******.
Having heard  the conversations and knowing her agitated mental state, my
    staff is afraid of her.

Her husband called me again. I told him that  all she needs
to do is come in, this time with a police officer for everyone safety, and meet
with me. She called the next morning with the usual insults and threats,
ranting and raving about what she was going to do and how dare I call the
police on her. Later on that afternoon at least 8 phone calls started again,
this time marked "anonymous".  We didn't answer. I called the
police again. They came to the store and offered us the option of"
trespassing" her. We are considering that option if the harassment does
    not stop.

Her membership is NOT canceled.....  but it is under review at
this time. All she needs to do is set up an appointment to come and talk to me IN PERSON and with a
    police officer for everyone's safety.

At no time did we tell her that we would not honor the
membership she purchased. This is not about a membership. This is about her
mental state and her having a loaded gun in our store. Until she can prove to
us that she mentally stable and can remain calm and talk to us like a normal
people, none of my staff want her in the store. They fear for their safety. As
do I. Witnesses are available to corroborate this narrative.
