  I hired Mr. ********************** to install an in-ground pool in August of 2022. Per the contract, the pool was supposed to deliver in 6-8 weeks and the project was to be completed before December 2022. The pool kit itself did not deliver until the end of January 2023. Per the contract created by Mr. ********************** and his company, construction was to begin shortly after the delivery of the kit. Mr. ********************** would not return phone calls or texts when the pool was delivered to give me a start date. It was not until I threatened to *** him for a refund of the money spent on the pool and the damages caused to my existing pool caused by following his request to have the pool drained for construction in October if construction was not started by April 1, 2023 that he began working on the project on March 31, 2023. The project initially started well, until I was notified Mr. ********************** had not secured the proper permits to begin the project by the county. Mr. ********************** also did not have the property surveyed for underground utilities and on May 3, 2023 his crew dug up my cable and nearly dug my electrical service up. The walls of the pool have been installed and the fiberglass stairs were cracked during installation. The crew has not been back to the house since May 3 and Mr. ********************** blames the manufacturer for all of the delays. Now I have a hole in my yard which is filled with water and is an insect breeding ground. His equipment has sat in my yard for 6 weeks untouched. There have been more excuses made than progress made and Mr. ********************** shows a complete lack of empathy about the mess he has created and left in my yard. We started this project last year to be ready for birthday, Mothers Day, and graduation parties in May and June. We will be lucky to have it ready for Labor Day at this rate. Find another contractor.

  If you are in the market for a reputable and accountable company, I suggest you look elsewhere. The owner, ***** Jackson, oversees projects from his phone and you will only see him when it's time to collect the payment. He is not a hands on project manager. If you have already signed a contract with him, I hope you receive better treatment. If you are on the fence about signing a contract, I highly suggest that you do not and take your business elsewhere. He does not communicate well and will provide every excuse as to why he hasn't responded for weeks at a time. I will continue to provide additional reviews, good or bad, depending on additional outcomes from this contractor. This is by far the worst experience that I have had with a contractor. This company lacks internet presence for a reason so do as much research as possible and check many references before handing over your deposit.
