Supreme Towing had my truck in their possession for 6 months before notifying me. Tn code XX-XX-XXX states they have 3 days to find out who the owner is then another 3 days to notify the owner. By law because they didnt follow these laws they are only allowed to collect 6 days of storage. But they want to charge me since 3/16/22.
They have towed this truck before so it should be in their records plus the registration was in the truck. Yet they want to charge $200 for a title search??? Plus a $200 labor fee...for what?
They have had my truck for 6 months yet now want to follow the law and only allow me 10 days to resolve this.
I want my truck. I am willing to pay the tow fee plus the 6 days of storage. They are entitled to nothing else.
      Thank you

Mrs. B. your vehicle was recovered on 3/15/2022 by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The occupants driving the vehicle fled from the scene. Once a stolen vehicle is recovered, a hold is immediately placed on the vehicle by the officer until the registered owner is notified. The hold was released on 3/16/2022. Which tells me that is when the police made contact with you. Additionally, you proceeded to claim that we have previously had your 2008 Dodge RAM in our procession the is no record of that. However, I am aware that towing and storage accumulates very quickly in these types of situations. I do not understand what was going on at the time you were notified previously. I am not in the business of keeping your vehicle and would much rather see you have it back. This is the ONLY attempt that you have made to resolve the situation. You have not tried to contact us directly at any point, which would have been the best form of action. Should you wish to contact me once again our number is XXX-XXX-XXXX.I look forward to speaking with you and hope that we will be able to reach an agreement that makes both parties involved satisfied. I also have copies of the search warrants and police tow in on file in my office. There was a detective involved on the case that would have reached out to you as well.
