    I purchased the MyCanoe Duo (two seater folding canoe) plus one oar/paddle in May 2022. The company charged my VISA debit card in two installments ($788.70 on May 5 and $600 on May 19), for a total of $1,388.70. I received the package a few weeks later and immediately tried to assemble it in my house on carpeting. The plastic sides were too stiff for my wrists, so I was unable to fully assemble the canoe. My husband also tried to with no success. Therefore, the canoe and paddle were never used. Within the 30 day return time frame, I contacted the company to request approval to ship it back for a refund. I was approved and emailed a return shipping label by "Travis" on June 26, 2022. FedEx picked up the package on June 29 and the company received it on July 5, 2022 (FedEx tracking number XXXXXXXXXXXX). Although I have contacted the company by email numerous times since then, I only keep hearing that that they are checking on the status of the refund with "management". On October 31, 2022, I filed a dispute with my bank, but I have been informed that VISA will only refund the money if the dispute is filed within 60 days of the charge and so they referred me back to the merchant. There is no physical address on the company's web site, but when I did an Internet search, I saw news articles mentioning that the team is located in Knoxville, TN, and I also saw some references that they may have a partner called "Coovy Sports". I have never received any refund and yet the company also kept the product! I feel totally cheated, like this was a scam.
