      I had my first and last interaction with Waves.com a few days ago. I saw some YouTube videos about their digital product and thought I might try one alongside my current creative project. It made no difference than the tools I already had available to me in the free version of DaVinci Resolve! I was floored because the YouTube videos showed great promise. Of course it doesn't work for me. Of course it's Snake Oil.

      So I initiated a refund. What good is 300mb of software that doesn't even claim to work? And one that's so exorbitantly priced at that. They got back to me. Wouldn't honor the refund. Are you kidding me? I could see if I bought a PDF, why I wouldn't be able to get a refund on that. But this BS has a LICENSE. That checks with their ONLINE servers before allowing me to use it. Just revoke the license and give me my money back? Are you serious?

      So I went to PayPal's dispute center. Jokes on you Waves. You've partnered with the one company that will strong-arm you into giving me my money back. And less than 8 hours later... you did. After they pressured you. Great look for you!

      Your initial customer experience is crap. Your sales teams response to my refund request was crap. The software was crap. You could have made a customer out of me a few years down the line. But now I'll never return, and worse for you yet, I will regurgitate this poor experience to everyone else I know for the rest of my life. You should have just given me my money back, when I asked nicely.

      I see that we sent the following response to the customer following his request for a refund:
      Thank you for your email and support, we appreciate both.
      What you describe sounds like a technical issue and not normal performance from Clarity VX DeReverb.
      Waves does not offer returns on software licenses as stated on checkout and demos are available before purchase. That being said, if Tech Support determines there is an incompatibility with your system we can look into other options at that time.
      Please let me know a good time for Waves Tech Support to follow up with you and I can have them reach out.
