  I live in a townhouse of 4 adjoining side by side townhouses 1996 build and sloping side yards depositing ground water in our crawlspaces, most notable in my side yard. A year ago had my space encapsulated and told no need for sump pump drainage. Just had first year inspection and humidifier filter change. It had rained previous day and now I was told I needed drainage system which was done yesterday. My side yard immediately started filling with the underground water and was gushing out this am with morning rains. Seems all this needs to be done and required at build time! However I've been very impressed with every person, estimator, foreman, worker, mgt people and skilled office worker! Immediately after scheduling my first estimate I received a very informative book about " all things bssementy" as their advertisements promise. Each person has been knowledgeable, patient, instructive and non hurried with providing information and answering questions. Yesterday foreman suggested I maintain annual inspections which includes filter changes, readings with inspections, cleaning out drainage systems as needed to provide warranty on the pumps. I've been very pleased with Master Services. But I strongly believe there should be laws requiring land leveling and or crawlspace work done with the first build prior to being saleable to the unwitting public!

  I am rescinding the review that I made on June 27,2024. Brian ***** called yesterday and told that that he completely understands our feelings. He is coming tomorrow to install a new and better unit. Master Services is a great company and we are so happy that they reached out and show that they cared.

  They installed a dehumidifier that stopped working and told us that they couldn't fix it. We are out over ******. Michael ******** said they had so many problems with the machine that they stopped installing them. How is this our fault? Shoddy company!!!! Unbelievable that they have no parts to fix the machines that they install!!!! Stay away from this company! THEY ARE NOT HONORABLE! I give them no star but I have to click on one to make this review record. CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!

  Our job was very difficult job requiring at least 3 different type of supports. One for our walls and 2 different ones for the foundation. Their salesman dude came out and with his tools showed me my problems. We hired a structural engineer and they agreed on a plan moving forward. We worked through scheduling issues, rain and etc. It took much longer than they planned. The installers were wonderful, well mannered and pleasant to be around. The installers communicated with us coming and going. They were unable to close rhe cracks but they shouldn't move any more. As per my structural engineer an 1/8" Crack is alot. The whole company was very patient with me and all my changes and lack of understanding.
  Now does the walls hold and if not their warranty?

  Master Services did an exceptional job with repairing our crawlspace!! From our initial call to the office, to the inspector, and the installation crew it was such a great experience. They installed the internal drainage system, sump pump, encapsulation, floor jacks, and dehumidifier shortly before putting our home on the market. The buyer had a home inspection before closing and their home inspector said that it was the nicest crawlspace he had ever been in! We would highly recommend using Master Services!!

  I had a groundwater problem in my crawlspace. Brian assured me it would be corrected if I installed a sump pump and a vapor barrier. After a lot of hassle it was completed. I still have groundwater because they did not seal the vaper barrier. They insist this is a plumbing issue because there is a small leak in the pipes. There is a lake under there. I had the water tested by the local water company who verified it was not city water. I was assured they stand behind their work instead they are providing unlikely excuses. I have had several plumbers and other crawl space companies come out. They determined the source was the vaper barrier. Master lied about many things I spent 13,000 for nothing. I asked about damage to the joists or floor before I began. They indicated everything was fine. Not true the flooring under the tub is rotted. I would not have done the work if I had known. I have been put through hell by these people. I am elderly and in ill health. The perfect target I guess. The last " expert" they sent was a convicted violent felon. Nice enough guy but scary.

  Master Dry does not honor the warranty program as promised. My dehumidifier died while under warranty. The warranty was to replace it with a new dehumidifier, as any warranty would. They replaced it with a refurbished unit and refused to provide a warranty for this used unit. The manager was no help, just danced around the matter with zero value added to the problem or conversation.
