Echo media bandmix.com has a great deal of bad reviews for upgraded membership renewal without permission or notice. Such is the case with this matter as well. I upgraded for 3 months of membership. When the 3 months expired Echo media bandmix renewed the upgraded membership without my knowledge or my permission. They did notify me after they stole 37.95 from my credit card. The next day I reversed the settings from their preset renewal option and asked for a refund. They have mostly ignored my emails and refused to issue a full refund. This behavior on the part of Echo media bandmix is both illegal and immoral. When checking their online reviews, it's clear that this is a scam Echo media bandmix engages in routinely. Echo media bandmix needs to refund the stolen money to my credit card and stop stealing from their customers.Business Response

About a year ago, I enrolled in band mix at a 3 month membership for 11.00 per month. The three month ended but they automatically rolled it over without notifying me. I let it go for 3 more months. When I tried to cancel in June,2024, they still charged me even though the services were cancelled. When. I tried to call the number provided , it was a constant busy signal every time & I couldn’t get through. Did file a dispute with Discover and they said the charge was valid even though they discontinued the services. I feel I should not have to pay the 33.95 they’re charging me when the services were discontinued for the months charged.Business Response

I subscribed to BandVista, a DIY website service provided by Echo Media, on March 18, 2022. Currently, through reoccurring charges I have paid $319.60 to date. In addition to this they have control over the domain name which I registered and paid for. I have been unhappy with the quality of the website builder and hosting service and foound an competator that better suited my needs. Therefore I wanted to cancel my service and have my domain name released. On the website buidler dashboard, there isn't an option to discuntinue service. I have called BandVista twice and emailed twice over the the past two weeks but have not received a response. I have called Echo Media directly on two occaisions, but the voicemail notice states the box is full and will not accept any messages. THe above is concerning as they continue to charge my credit card but I ahve no way of stopping my service.Business Response

I have been leaving NUMEROUS messages and email regarding an Alert issue and Not being able to stay signed onto the mobile app for alerts. I do receive email alerts. The last email I received from Bandmix was stated "they are are aware of the issue and there's no resolution at this time, and my account will not be renewed". So I was just cut off at the knees without any explanation or a phone call. No customer service and I have NEVER spoken to a person in all the years I've been a customer. We are aware of the push notification error on the Android version of the BandMix app and it is in our development queue to be addressed. Unfortunately, we cannot give a timeframe for when this specific issue will be resolved. The app push-notification is an additional notification layer. Emails still alert all users of new messages on the service. New messages are also displayed prominently on the website itself. That said, we understand your frustration with the push notifications and, like previously stated, we aim to address it promptly. Because this seems to be a particularly important feature for you to use the service, we have made sure that you will not be charged going forward until this is resolved. I did not approve a renewal of my membership and was charged $33.95 on 9/23/23. I contacted the company 6 times - 3 times via email (9/24/23, 9/25/23, 9/27/23) - each each was set an auto-response that did not resolve the issue. I also contacted the company 3 times via phone (9/23/23, 9/25/23, 9/26/23). Each time I called the phone representative stated that someone would be reaching out to me, likely by email. I did not ever receive any such contact.

I was charged $12.95 on 4/18/23 & 5/18/23 to create an account to facilitate meeting & messaging other people on company's website Bandmix.com . Received 0 messages, sent several messages to other people & received 0 responses. Sent email inquiry to the company's support on 5/24/23 and received 0 response. Left a message on Bandmix's facebook page & received 0 response.
I'd like a refund of the charges & the company to stop ripping people off! How are messages relayed? Does something get sent to personal email or is it all in message bank on website? Either way, we received nothing.Business Response
