Placed an ad with the publication in order to sell a Pressure Washer. The item sold. Now after four phone calls and several months, the ad listening is till being posted by the magazine. The lady that I have spoken to, with the publication continues to inform me that she canceled the ad. However each week it is still published and I am receiving phone calls from buyers.

Mr. ******** called 3 times. The first time was a voicemail he left. Second I pulled up his information, clicked in our system to cancel the ad and then the third time, he got angry and cussed at me, then once I politely told him I did not appreciate that he calmed down and I confirmed in our system the ad was marked sold. That is all I can personally do in the system on my end. I told him I would get with our IT department to see why the glitch is happening and he was fine with that and even the same afternoon after our call, place a brand new ad online through our website for an Antique secretary desk. So he obviously didn't think our company was so terrible as to never use us again, just mad enough to give us a bad mark on the BBB. We have a tracking phone number and every conversation is recorded which I have downloaded the report of his calls and every conversation. It was 3 calls on this matter.

I did find the reason for the issue and when I called him to go over his new ad informed him what happened. He was fine and understanding on the phone so again, not sure why he felt the need to do this.

Which we keep our papers online as well.... our readers generally keep the paper in their homes 4-6 weeks on average which would also explain as to why he may have been still getting calls - also being a printed publication, people will tear ads out of the paper and call on them later or again till they speak to someone or they're ready to try and buy. The beautiful thing about our online publications, is you can search each paper for the wording and find the exact ad. His ad was worded as such: PRESSURE WASHER New, used once. Honda 2.5hp motor. 2500psi. Must pick up. $150. His last and third call was on October 25th- which was too late to do anything for the next week's paper 10-30-24 so starting in November the ad was no longer in print. You can check yourselves at:

I am rejecting this response because:  My ad was used as FILLER.  The email sent to me verified that. After WEEKS of trying to cancel the ad, I was finally successful. The printing people reposted my ad to simply fill the page with worthless canceled ads. After many calls and texts from people wanting to purchase my pressure washer, I was frustrated and contacted Get Local four a fourth time

    Sincerely,

    John Johnston
