      I prepaid for a metal detector in December of 2022 that Kellyco estimated delivery for the beginning of 2023 and here we are now going in to April 2023 four months later with no product. I believe the reason is I purchased the detector using a gift card and Kellyco rules are that gift cards are non-refundable, so Kellyco knows they have your money and put you on the last tier for service no matter when you ordered it. This is true because if you did not use another form of payment, you can cancel at any time and Kellyco would be required to refund you. Gift Card holders take a seat in the rear of the bus. I want my pre-order for the Manticore cancelled and the funds used for the gift card returned to my original form of payment.

      I purchased nomad blu3 from their dealer Kellyco metal detectors in august and few months later received email from dealer (Kellyco metal detectors) that I should check with Blu3 if my device is safe to use. Then I emailed and called to Blu3 and Kellyco, Blu3 confirmed by serial number that my device is unsafe, compressor can blow up and cause user's death by drowning. I asked if I can return device and get refund or just get a replacement, dealer Kellyco refused to do so. Also there is no time frame to fix this device yet. Please see attached emails from blu 3 and kellyco. Who will cover time without device?, I bought device to use, not to deal with all of this. Kellico simply dont stand behind products they sell.

      The issue here was not with Kellyco, but with the manufacturer of a product sold on the Kellyco website. The manufacturer is following all correct procedures of the recall process and is currently waiting on the CPSC for approval of their proposed Corrective Action Plan. Upon approval, the manufacturer is prepared to move quickly to satisfy all affected customers. The customer has now communicated directly with the manufacturer and is awaiting next steps.

      I believe the posting of this complaint may have been before a resolution was worked out between the manufacturer and the client. We ask that the customer kindly update the status of their complaint.

      Manufacturer contacted me and said not to use an equipment for unknown period of time which is not helpful. I can't use this expensive device. I think Kellyco and manufacturer have to be both responsible. KellyCo is responsible because they simply sold equipment which can't be used. In my opinion Kellyco should exchange device or refund money and then deal with manufacturer.
