    We purchased a 1,100 sq ft $****** “quality Amish build portable building” from Secure Storage Sheds of Knoxville. It was delivered in June 2023 and we started building out the inside for a shed to home dwelling. We’ve had nothing but problems with the building and the company who does not stand behind their product. I have plenty of instances I could share but I’ll stick with the current issue at hand. They boast an IRC codes ready package, which promises to be code compliant with the state of Tennessee building code. We have failed two inspections on this building and Secure Storage Sheds refuses to give our inspector the information he needs on the building. Our inspector is concerned about the quality of the building and states many issues on it being not structurally sound. Our inspector asked for engineering blueprints from the company and they refuse to provide them. He said instead of the blueprints we could hire a structural engineer and Secure Storage refuses to cover the bill. Secure storage says they can send a repair main to fix the issues but our inspector says that won’t do- we need an engineer or the blueprints. Secure Storage is now lying and saying that they don’t have to meet every single code, although they boast that its code compliant. We paid $10,000 extra to have the “codes ready package”. This building is not useable at this point, and they refuse to stand behind their product or their “promises” of code compliancy.
