I brought my motor home on Sept. 26 to have 3 things done: Replace a fuse for the radio, rotate tires, and replace entire awning including arms. I was correctly contacted for authorization of cost for each job, which I approved. I was NOT told, however, that the shipping charge for the awning was going to be $705.66! I would never have approved that, as I can order these exact parts from Camping World website and have them sent to the store with FREE shipping! I asked to speak to a manager several times, none would return my call. The service advisor agreed to remove $100 off the shipping charge, which was unsatisfactory. I asked them to provide a copy of the shipping invoice for my items and I would pay it-they refused.
When I went to pick up my unit, I again asked to speak to a manager and was told they were on vacation. I paid my bill and waited outside for my unit. When the gentleman brought it up, I extended the awning to make sure everything was working properly. To my astonishment, the same old, dirty, ripped canopy was never even replaced! I then double checked my tires, as I make a mark on the inside front right tire to make sure they are correctly rotated, and my tires were never rotated! I went back in to complain. The gentleman acknowledged the canopy, and took it in back and I had to wait another hour while they replaced it, and of course they had it in stock. He would not rotate my tires, stating that it said it was completed on my invoice. It also said my awning was completed....
I am requesting the return of funds to rotate my tires ($380), and the shipping charge for the awning (605.66), which was never authorized, for a total of $985.66.
I have purchased 2 fifth wheels from Camping World, and while I know its a big company and sometimes one hand doesn't know what the other is doing, I don't expect to be exploited like this from a company I generally support.

The awning from my Sprinter Camper fell due to a result of wind damage. It has taken over 3 months to finally get service rep to access the situation. On 9/11/24 Josh, the service rep, was sent to fix the awning. I paid $214 for the initial assessment and I am being charged an additional $800 for services rendered. I was advised my extended warranty would not cover the damages. When the repairs were made, the service rep advised that he did not realize that the hydraulic arm was broken and the other rep proceeded to remove the led lights then advised me that that would need to be replaced. I asked if service could be postponed until the awning could actually be fully repaired and I was advised that they had to put the awning back up, even though it would not work, and then I could pay to have a new arm replaced and installed separately, along with the lights. I am not getting anywhere with the company on why my extended warranty does not cover wind damage and also why my awning was not repaired as promised while expecting me to pay a total of approximately $1041.00. I was advised that for the service rep and his assistant to be paid he just had to put the awning back up and leave it not functioning. I do not know how to proceed with this issue. Camping worlds website and reviews are overflowing with complaints and I am worried that I am being taken advantage of, especially with all I have dealt with to just get the awning looked at and after reviewing the hundreds of complaints online. Please advise me on how to proceed. Should I seek legal action? Is there anything the BBB could do to assist me in this matter? Please let me know as soon as possible. I have not yet paid the additional $800 charge due to the awning not actually being repaired to its original state. ** **** ** ****** ******** *** ** **** ***** ****** ** *************
