This business is a sports complex that offers a monthly subscription through an app called Glofox. 100 dollars a month and it works kinda like a gym where your phone/app can unlock the door. The issue is when you want to cancel your auto renewed subscription you can only do so by contacting the con artist owner. He will purposely ignore your phone calls, texts, emails, Facebook messages and charge you anyway. I called, texted, emailed and Facebook message 1 time a day for five days before the next billing cycle asking to please cancel before I was billed. No surprise he answered right after I was billed for November and said he took care of it. I was aggravated but kept the peace and just figured I’d use the facility another month seeing that I payed for it. I loaded up Saturday evening and took my son and his friend to shoot basketball at this facility and my app would no longer unlock the door. Of course I called him with no answer, texted him with no answer. My father in law called him on the same number and he picked right up. This is where it got weird. My in law got on my app and purchased a $50 membership an He told my father in law that he canceled me and blocked me from ever becoming a customer again because I wouldn’t stop calling and messaging. He informed the owner well he just wanted to cancel and you wouldn’t answer. Owner told him that it’s a yearly subscription which is a lie. It is absolutely a monthly sub. No offers on the app to pay for a year which is irrelevant anyway because if you pay for a month or year and cancel the auto renew you still finish the term you pay for. Well not with this guy he truly believes he is right and that he charged me 100 dollars and I can not use the facility. After posting on Facebook how this guy acted and ripped me off, I got numerous messages from people that said he did them the same way. One guy reached out for 3 months before he actually canceled. This man is literally stealing hundreds maybe thousands a month.
