    I've had a storage building with ez storage since 2020 and august of 2022 it was broken into and everything stolen. The woman ****** runs them. When my building was broken into I received no phone call no anything. Instead I received a text saying that my building has been cleaned out and everything has been gotten rid off. So what wasn't stolen, instead of her getting in touch with me, she threw all the rest of my stuff away or got rid of it. I filed a police report against the theft but how many people has this women done this to. She illegally got rid of everything I owned that wasn't stolen.

    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/10/01) */ This unit was found unlocked and when I checked inside the unit there was only some trash, empty boxes, 3 dining chairs and a broken table. So, I pulled up the tenant and noticed she had not paid her rent on this unit, so I assumed it had been vacated and not paid. This happens often in storage business. So, I sent the tenant a move out notice (which does inform the tenant). She contacted me and said she wasn't done with that unit and did intend to pay. I told her the situation and she said no she had not moved her items out and there should be more items in the unit. I told her to file a police report and I would check my camera footage. I had started the clean out process to her unit before she had called, and I immediately put everything back in the unit so she could see what was remaining in the unit. I did not take anything out of her unit, nor did I throw anything away. I find it all very suspicious myself because I did investigate into the unit myself because I don't want anything to happen to anyone's belongings. I ask if she had used the lock provided which is a round silver lock not easy to cut off, she said she had taken it off and put it on her U-Haul trailer and had a small combination lock on her unit. Later on, I spoke to a tenant a few doors down from her who comes to his unit often and he stated he saw a man and a woman with a U-Haul trailer come and clean out her unit and they left some chairs sitting out and the door open, so he put them back in and pulled the door down. The police contacted me, and I told them everything I knew and said they can check my cameras. The tenant contacted me again asking when the other tenant saw the people clean out her unit because she may know who did it. It all seems a little fishy to me, but it is part of the storage business you have to deal with all kinds of situations. I don't appreciate being slander when she knows very well, I did not take her thing the items were left in her unit and her mother came by and checked them to file it in the police report.
