We hired ****** ******, owner of All Bright Tub Refinishing, to refinish the inside of a tub and the inside of a sink. When we hired him, he estimated that the job would take a minimum of 2 hours and maybe more. We certainly expected the job to be completed in one day. One day turned into THREE days. To be succinct, the end result is a disappointment. There were runs and very noticeable imperfections (not small ones) that ****** tried to sand out and refinish. I would NOT recommend this company due to the poor product and results that we just have to live with. Prior to ******, our tub was originally peeling where another company we used in the past applied a spray product that eventually peeled and cracked. We thought by using a service where the product is rolled on it would ensure a longer lasting finish and look nice, as well. We just hope this product doesn't peel and crack. Time will tell. I have presented facts based on our personal experience. I would not recommend this company. Oct. 2024

The Ms ****** lied about the whole process. When I was contacted to do the job (three weeks out), I told them that it would be a 2-day process. The first day the coating is put on, and the second day is to make sure the coating dried properly. The first day was done, with no problems. The second day the customer cancelled the appt. I explained the importance of the second appt. Ms ****** explained that they were in the process of dealing with her elderly parent. That was more of a priority than the tub and sink. She went to cancel another appt. I called her 4 days after the initial appt. She was very disrespectful and argumentative in nature. Her exact words were, get your behind over here now and finish the job. I have been a tub refinisher for seventeen years. I have never been disrespected and talk down too. I did go back to the house, very pleasant and kind. I explained that your cancellations were out of my control. She became loud, mean, and not a good person. I was going to leave, but I didn"t because I take pride in my work. Also, her husband begged me to do the touchup and I did. He approved the job and paid me. I know people believe the customer is always right. This is a case, where the customer was very disrespectful and treated me poorly. I'm not surprised that she wrote a negative review.I want to believe she was going through a tough time with her elderly parent and was just taking it out on me. I do believe that all people have good in their hearts.

The tub refinish was acceptable. The owner of the company did the work on 12/23/23. The main problem was he did not remove the tub drain prior to applying the tub refinish coating so the new coating covers the ****** of the drain, and the drain cannot be removed in the future without cracking the tub finish. This will perinatally damage the tub finish and could cause it to leak. The smaller drain he installed in the outer body of the original drain failed and broke; I called a plumber who said he could not properly repair the tub drain. The plumber also stated he had never seen anything done that badly. I called the owner of the company and he said he does not remove the drains because he is not a plumber. He just kept saying several times "He was not a plumber". The drain is designed to be removable and should not be permanently sealed into the tub. If he does not want to remove the drain, he should tell the homeowner to get a plumber first to remove the drain then he will come and refinish the tub surface.

Yes, we don't remove the drain. The coating we put on is hard and doesn't smell. This was told to the customer before the job. He is talking about an issue that will probably never be addressed. Most drains are installed when the home is being built and never touched again. We have yet to have a customer needs the drain removed. If he needs the drain area repaired in the future, we will repair it. I don't understand the negative review. The job was done well, and he was pleased with it. He paid us, for the job we did. I don't know why the plumber would say the job was bad. He is a plumber, not a tub refinisher. I do take pride in my work.
