1 starThe product itself is great but to avoid very expensive shipping costs, my husband drove two hours to pick up our closet system in Franklin, TN. Upon installing the closet system, it was noticed that the back of one shelving system was missing and the brackets to hold a rod were broken. He contacted the customer service several times. When he was finally able to speak to someone it was very difficult for them to understand the issue. It was finally agreed that the missing piece and new brackets would be mailed to our home asap to finish installing the closet system. We currently have most of our clothing sitting on our couch. After a week of waiting, nothing arrived. When he called the store again, it turns out that they decided to have the missing part shipped to their store, forcing my husband to have to drive 2 hours again. A major inconvenience for a mistake they made in the first place. My husband asked to speak to a manager in customer service to discuss his grievance and it took several days for the manager to call him back. She was very rude and not willing to help with the situation. All we wanted was for the items to be shipped to our home. my husband called her out on the attitude and she hung up on him. We spent over $2,000 on this closet system. You would think they would appreciate their customers better. I do not recommend this company at all!! Buyers beware!!Review fromMeghan F

1 starI am filing this complaint regarding my recent order from Cabinets To Go at their Syracuse, NY location. Despite my attempts to escalate and resolve two ongoing issues, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response or resolution. The issues have caused significant delays, inconvenience, and unnecessary stress.
Issue 1: Incorrect Cabinet Shelves
On April 1, 2025, an installer confirmed that the incorrect shelf sizes had been ordered and installed for the cabinet base unit. These shelves were removed, but I have received no updates from Cabinets To Go on how this issue would be resolved. I have followed up multiple times (on April 19, April 22, and May 5), but I have yet to receive a response. As a resolution, I am requesting a full refund of the cost for the incorrect shelves, as they were not usable.
Issue 2: Improper Trim Installation
The trim was installed despite the ceiling being unlevel, which was not communicated to me beforehand. The trim is now uneven with visible gaps around the ceiling. I was left coordinating between the installer and my contractor without being informed of this issue in advance, preventing me from addressing it before installation. I am requesting that:
The trim be removed at no cost to me, allowing me to level the ceiling.
The trim be reinstalled properly at no cost to me once the ceiling has been addressed.
Desired Resolution:
A refund for the incorrect cabinet shelves.
Removal and reinstallation of the trim at no additional cost to me.
Timeline:
I initially raised these concerns on February 10, 2025, and after numerous attempts to follow up, I have yet to receive any satisfactory resolution. It has been several months, and I am seeking prompt action within 3 business days to resolve these issues.Review fromKelly C.

1 starBefore you buy: if you love your new home, don't let this company ruin it for you. Pay more for a reputable CABINET MAKER AND INSTALLER. They don't vet their Installers, but Sub-SUB contract to unvetted entities. Bottom line: Cheap Cabinets (warranty? good luck), FRAUDULENT, UNVETTED INSTALLERS, and poor customer service. Trust your gut. ********* ***** (owned by *** ********), and TN Cabinets to Go customer service are HORRIBLE. NO LIFETIME WARRANTY IS WORTH THE GRIEF.
I am highly unsatisfied with CTG Supervisor Christy NOT owning the problem, follow-up, and resolution. She forgot that I filed a complaint and tried to send the SAME installer back to my home vs canceling their contract). I ordered minibar cabinets in May and it's Sept. The job isn't complete plus the cabinets are in bad shape. She refused a refund and offered the same con man back in my home to fix the problems. If you buy cabinets from CTG, know that the same guy John who came to my house could come to yours.
CTG sent ********* ***********, a new guy with no legitimate Business Address at the GA Sec of State (or even at CTG or ********* *****) to do my job. CTG told me the installers could do extra work. I paid John (upfront like I paid CTG) $1050 for plumbing, electrical, and the door pulls. He botched everything he touched. The GFCI outlets don't work. I have scratches, holes, and crooked cabinets like my house is a flip home. Some cabinets were damaged upon delivery. Others were damaged by John as he taught his crew the process at my home on my dime.
BUT THESE CHEAP PAINTED CABINETS SHOULD NOT SCRATCH SO EASILY.
Knowing that John conned me and at least one other CTG customer (on ****** check out ********* *********** *** in GA - our complaints are the same) Christy CONTINUED TO WORK WITH LYING JOHN. Knowing she can't find ** on a map when we looked. They don't care about you, service, or your safety. They'll take your money and let everything fall apart. Literally.
It's NOT WORTH ITReview fromChris B

1 starI purchased a complete kitchen from Cabinets to goin Franklin TN Krystal was the sales person when they delivered the cabinets I was disappointed that she didn't inform me that they still need to be assembled
So the very first box we opened the cabinet was damaged she asked for pictures and they agreed that the damage was extensive enough that they should send me a complete replacement cabinet but it took them so long to get the replacement to me and the countertops were scheduled for install that I had to use the damaged cabinet Krystal agreed that if I can make the damaged cabinet work that they would refund my money she said just bring the cabinet back once I received it
When the cabinet finally arrived I brought it in for refund but then she refused to refund the money as she had previously agreed too
There were multiple other problems and mistakes But telling me something and not following thru was what really was the last straw for me
I will never buy from them again there are other companies with great assembled cabinets and great customer service

1 starI purchased an entire kitchen remodel from Cabinets To Go, including demolition and installation. We paid for everything up front as we were told we had to, despite voicing my concerns. I was told, “What do you think we will take your money and not finish?” Currently Cabinets To Go took my money and has not finished. It has been over 6 weeks since anyone from the company has come to work on the project. My pregnant wife, under two-year-old and I have been living with an unfinished kitchen for over 2 months, when we were told it would be a month. We completely understand if a project takes longer than expected due to waiting for items to be in stock or delivered, but this was not the case. Cabinets To Go hired a contractor that ignored, lied, and insulted us when wanting him to finish the job. He would say “I will have to check my schedule and get back to you,” and never return any calls for two weeks. I have done many home improvement projects with various companies, but this will stick out as the most unprofessional experience I have had thus far. Even the customer service team is having difficulty connecting us with another installer to complete our project. Per the contract, we are still waiting to have a scratched cabinet door replacement door installed, the molding, trim work and toe kick to be completed. The contract is vague, we had to purchase the tile for backsplash after the countertop installation and the contract does not discuss any work. However, the initial contract states that they will complete work purchased through Cabinets To Go, which we did purchase the tile with them.Review fromRobert G

1 starDO NOT BUY FROM CABINETS TO GO!!! If I could give negative stars for the experience we have had with Cabinets to Go, I would. We ordered cabinets in October for a full kitchen renovation. They were delivered in late December. All of the cabinets were installed in mid-January only to find out that the cabinet for the twin ovens was incorrect. The correct cabinet had been ordered but their third party manufacturer (a problem when you don't make what you sell) but the wrong cabinet was sent. Approximately 3 three weeks later, the replacement cabinet was delivered but before the box was even opened, we were told it was incorrect as well. The third cabinet is supposed to be delivered in late April which means it will have taken three months to correct the problem. The biggest issue we have, in addition to having no kitchen for five months, is that no one cares about our problem. You pay the full amount for your cabinets when they are delivered so no one in the entire company has any reason to try and help fix a problem and as the customer, you have no recourse. We have been passed off to multiple people within the company and all we hear is "There's nothing we can do." They need to change the title of their Customer Care phone line to the Customer Response line because that's all you get - a response, no action. We hope no one else makes the poor decision to use this company.Review fromMarc K

1 starPlease stay away from this company.
I used their store in Omaha Nebraska.
They have no customer service, they do not respond to problems, and you will have to finish the work yourself.
The salesperson does not tell the truth and does not know what he is doing.
The billing department does not know what they are doing, and you cannot get any resolution.
One star review is too high for this company.
Please stay away.Review fromBen A.

1 starThe reviews showing this location provides top notch service is a total lie!!!!!! Do not shop with this company. I purchased my kitchen back in May of 2022 and the store informed me that my cabinets were on back order and I will receive them July of 2022. I did not receive my cabinet until December of 2022. They sent an installer to my home that damaged my entire kitchen, ruined my wood floor, put a huge hole in my wall and did not install my cabinets properly. They store is not taking any accountability for the horrible job the installer did nor is customer came doing anything to fix the situation. Today is 12/17/2022 and I still do not have a kitchen. They will not refund my money or send a new installer to fix the mistake. I have called customer care 10 times to speak to a manager and the Carmine told me he was going to call me today before 12pm and has not called me back. The associate Daniel was so disrespectful to me stating they are not taking any accountability and if I have an issue with the install I need to speak with the install company because they have no affiliation with Cabinets to go even though they chose the installer. I paid $14K for this kitchen and it looks like crap. I am now not able to have my yearly Christmas party because I have no kitchen. I have been wasting money spending money outside because I have little children I need to feed and don't have a sink to wash dishes. I also had to repair the hole the installer put in my wall and it cost me $400.Review fromNikki D

1 starTerrible experience. We purchased our cabinets through the Cabinets To Go Tampa location. We have been without a kitchen for 4 months due to this business. First the cabinets to go contractor set to install the cabinets did not return our calls / Emails for a month. Finally after waiting a month and a half we elected to install our own cabinets. At that point we found out 4 critical cabinets that were shipped were broken in package. We took photographs showing the damaged cabinets in the shipping boxes. Cabinets to go does not honor their products and refused to replace the cabinets. They instead insisted on sending "replacement parts" They sent these "replacement parts" twice over the course of a month and a half. Both times the parts were inferior quality and the brackets did not fit with the non-damaged parts of the cabinets. Finally after months of repeated contact and pleading with customer service - they finally agreed to replace the cabinets. In September. 2.5 months after our initial purchase. The replacement cabinets arrived broken as well - however we were able to poach parts from the original broken cabinets to 'make it work' In addition, our cabinets were mis-measured by the installer, leaving large gaps, and forcing us to purchase additional cabinets - are our own expense. Absolute worst experience I have ever had with a company.
