  Outstanding service.
  Called them to get a quote for some driveway work we wanted done.
  The owner showed up that day, measured the drive, answered every question we had, and gave us a fair price for the job.
  Crew showed up the next morning, and was grading the driveway before I even got up. Paving was done in the early afternoon, and it looks incredible.
  2 year warranty on all their work, which is more than other paving companies. The driveway is perfectly smooth and is exactly what we wanted.
  Punctual. Polite. Professional.

  DO NOT USE TRISTAR PAVING OR ***** ******!! Back before summer I signed a contract with *********** to get my driveway paved. He bid on our driveway for $17,500 & we paid a $2,500 down payment. On the day of paving TriStarPaving shows up. They stated that *********** had bid our driveway for 1000sqft less than what it was suppose to be. So this increased our total by $7,500 which puts us at a total of $25,000. TriStarPaving owner, Louie, stated that the $2,500 down payment was not actually a down payment but is what *********** kept for supplying TriStar the job. This was not communicated by ***** ******. The contract states a down payment. So we get the paving done & I am NOT happy with it at all. There are two large spots that they had to patch & several “thin” places where it looks more like black gravel stuck together. Louie insured me that when we get it sealled, that would fix all of these spots. Louie stated they would seal my driveway for $1600 and it would last three years. I stated I did not have that money now because I was not expecting to pay an extra $7,500 to get the job done. Louie stated that if I can pay $800 when they they do the job, then I can pay the other $800 a month later. I agreed to this. The day the guys show up to seal the driveway Louie texted me and stated that if I just pay $1,000 that day they would call it even for all the prior trouble I had. After the driveway was sealed it looked like CRAP. It did not blend in the spots that were patched or fill in the thin areas. You can clearly see where they rolled in on, which looked good except for the spots they got on my concert. The rest of the driveway was sprayed on so thin you cannot even tell it has been sealed.
  I reached out to Louie about the issues. He asked that I message him after Labor Day so they can schedule to come out and fix it. I have since messaged him 3 times with no reply.

  yes **** ***** we have spoken to you numerous times about your driveway and as far as adding an additional $7500 on you, add it to the size of your driveway and we knocked the price of the sealer down to try and help you we just Got back from a funeral in Arkansas. We’ve been out of our office for over a week now but we did have you on our schedule for October 7 and eighth to totally resurface your driveway at no additional cost because those are the dates that you ask for we have never, avoided you or your phone calls yes, there was a small problem with your driveway and we wasn’t even going to try to patch it. We was just gonna re-slurry the whole job. I really don’t understand the point of this. You set the dates at the seventh and eighth of October not us.

  TriStar Paving showed up last night to reseal our driveway tricker and by brushing it on, which looks a lot better. I am happy this company made things right.
  To clarify a few things in the company’s response to my review….We did not speak “numerous times” I explained the issues and they told me to contact them after Labor Day to get scheduled. Over a two week span, after Labor Day, I sent 3 messages to get things scheduled with no reply. I would classify this as ignoring me. When reserving a phone call after my reviews posted, he told me about the death in the family. A simple reply stating they are out of the office for a death would have avoided all of this. They stated they had me to the schedule, none of that was stated until after my review. Again, communication would have prevented this.

  Tristarpaving did an amazing job with our parking lot. We were so impressed in the timely manner and professionalism that they showed and made sure that we were completely satisfied and everything was up to what we requested 10 out of 10 I recommend.

  I originally gave a bad review then told I gave a wrong review. So, I gave a 5 star because I had hurt someone's feelings. While the paving was done, it was done so thick the sides are dangerous because there is a now 3 - 3 1/2 lip when stepping off the driveway. People have tripped stepping up to their vehicle and misjudged the step down. Now, after a huge investment of $8500 I have to invest in putting down dirt so people don't hurt themselves. I initially did not see this as they left the dirt they dug up for the driveway. Also the gate to my fence can only be opened in as the paving is so high the fence gate cannot be opened out. I don't care how much they say they did a great job-beware. They will say they have been doing this business for years, if so they would know you not to make such a high driveway. The job was not worth $8500 if it means someone can get hurt because of a poorly, thought-out job.

  Ma’am, we apologize if you feel we put your job down to thick the thicker the better we told you we were selling you a long lasting job as far as your gate not opening properly. All you had to do was call us and we would’ve been glad to fix your gate All right going to us you paid for 3 inches of asphalt and that’s what we gave you
  When we put driveways as thick as we put yours, you do have to sometimes add dirt on the sides. I am very sorry we really did try to do you a nice job. If you ever have any issues with it in the future, it is guaranteed.

  BEWARE, do not use! Same experience as some of the other reviews. They had "leftover" material, it seems and made a mess out of my driveway. Cracks, water intrusion into garage, wavy and just sloppy work. Nothing but excuses and no responsibility taken. If Tom is the owner, not Louie, then Tom should be showing up at jobs when a customer waits 8.5 months for "repairs" that are just as terrible as the original job! Louie and some female office worker both stated that the job was too far away and they shouldn't have taken it! What a pathetic excuse from a business, employees or owner. They were happy to take my money being so FAR away. Had other companies come out and give estimates to repair. They all chuckled at the terrible job and obvious lack of caring and experience of Tri Star Paving. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere!!!!!!!!

  Tri Star Paving in Lebanon TN gave me a bid on my small single driveway and said they would come the following week to do the job. They never showed! It is now 2 months after the fact and the owner is texting me telling me I have to pay him a fee for putting my signature on the paper!!! He must be very desperate to go after a senior when he didn't even show up. In his text he also mentioned that I agreed to what ever date they could come back. He lied and didn't show up. I'm tired of people trying to swindle me. When does it stop?

  Yes ma'am we're sorry you feel that way your job was a $4000 job you told us you only had $3000 we offered to work with you and with your budget as long as you were flexible with timing you said that you were as long as it got done you didnt care ! we did order and pay for your material and there is a fee for canceling our contract we did not knock on your door and ask for your job you called us out !
