I received a ***** gift card for my birthday in February. The number is **** **** **** **** 024 **** and recently went to use at the ****** ** Cracker Barrel Store and they said it was not valid.My friend purchased this card at the ********** Wal-Mart Store but she does not still have the receipt.I hope that you can replace my card with one that works. On June 4, 2023, I took my family to Cracker Barrel in **********, ** for dinner. A long period after we had ordered, the waitress stated they were out of mashed potatoes. I reordered a baked potato and awhile later was informed they were out of those as well. My wife and aunts hamburger steaks arrived and they were so salty they were uneatable. My mother asked for pepper sauce and the restaurant was out of that as well. At that point I went to the front counter to speak with a manager. I was told the manager was in the kitchen and not speaking to customers and there was no one to address my concerns with. Our bill was $54.93 before tax and tip. On June 6, 2023, I contacted Cracker Barrel customer service and was given a case number ******** and told I would be contacted in 5 days. To date no contact has occurred. This was a terrible experience and I am asking for a refund please and thank you.Business Response

Employees could not get either of my gift cards $25 each to work on their cash register. I know my cards are good. apparently the cards need to be replaced with new ones that your employees can get to go through their cash register.Business Response

Cracker Barrel has run a promotion for catering Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners both, that if they were ordered and picked up within a certain amount of time they would give you a $10 or $20 gift card. I can't remember the exact promotion. Anyway. When picking up Christmas dinner the employee said their corporate office was sending out the promotions. Here it is June 10th and we've gotten nothing from them. My son has emailed them and they said they needed order numbers. Upon our own research (they should've been able to do) we found the order numbers and emailed them back. They never responded. Called the 800 corporate number and that's useless. I emailed them and they said they would email the certificates within 24 to 36 hours. That was over 2 weeks ago. Called the local restaurant that fulfilled the order and they even tried to email they're corporate office. but ultimately said it was corporate that had to fulfill my request. All I want is for them to make good on their offer.Business Response

We had some issue with the distribution of our Bonus Promo cards for our holiday meals. We were not able to send her Bonus cards at the time of her request letting us know they were not received. I am rejecting this response because: I still have not received vouchers. Are they sending to the correct email address? ************* I've checked spam/junk folders and there's nothing there either. I tried to call the number to speak with the lady directly but the automated system leads a lot to be desired and you get no one. At this point...just mail them... ***************************************************************************The next time Cracker Barrell decides to run a promo like this again... how bout you just discount the catering? Or give the store the ability to take care of customers instead of pushing it off an the corporate office. The phone line should have an option for customer issues. Why is this so difficult? This goes all the way back to Chylee. Twice with my son trying to ************* and now me. Follow up phone calls would resolve to make sure vouchers are received would be ideal.

I ordered a rocket set with table 5/25. Usually I have read that it takes 2-3 weeks for it to come in, but ships pretty fast. I have been unable to reach any customer service representative as the **** number is not working and hangs up on anyone calling guest relations, the guest relations contact form does not work, no agent is available for chat and no one responds to their social media. On 5/27/23, we went to go to Cracker Barrel with the $45 worth of gift cards, only to be told since the gift cards do not have a pin, they were being declined. The cards definitely say on them that there is are no expiration date so therefore, they cannot be expired, and we have not used the gift cards for any purchases. I purchased a gift card for Cracker Barrel Restaurants for $50 as I have done many times in the past because our craft group likes to meet there for lunch from time to time. When we tried to go again using our gift cards the doors were closed and no longer in business. They had closed suddenly without notice to the public which included all their stores except in *******, ****** which is at least a days drive from ********. I contracted CB to get a refund for my gift card. They issued a ticket number and two days later said it had been resolved. I called again and got the same response three times. Entered by BBB Staff - lj May 10, 2023 Consumer placed a take out order at the Cracker Barrel located at ************************************** ********, **. Her receipt indicates 7:40 P. M. While waiting for her order she stopped in the gift shop and purchased three pairs of socks for our grandchildren. They were $7.99 a pair. The socks are on her receipt. She also purchased other items at the gift shop. Total price including take out was $60.83. When she got home she noticed the three pair of socks were not in the bag. She called the restaurant but they were closed. She called this morning and spoke with the manager ******. He checked and the socks were not at the cash register. On 4/29/23 I called order in at Cracker Barrel ************. I went to get my order and pay for it. I had a gift card and the gal said I needed a pin for it, there is none on the card. I used part of it in January, 2023 and have almost $30 balance on it. They asked for me to call a number at Cracker Barrel, they were closed. So today, Monday May 1, 2023 I called and they have no option to talk to anyone, they had me put gift card in and tell me I need a pin number. It referred me to do onlin chat. I tried that and it is NOT AVAILABLE. ALL GUEST RELATIONS. So I have a gift card with $30 that I cannot redeem and NO WAY TO GET AHOLD OF ANYONE. There was another phone number I found for GIFT CARDS THAT HAD NO PIN NUMBER ON IT, called that number and it disconnected me. What is going on with Cracker Barrel, they must have a way to talk to someone about a problem. Seems like bad customer service to me.Customer Answer

Cracker Barrel Gift Card ******************* with NO PIN. On 3-15-23 we ate at **********, ** Cracker Barrel. I had lady to check balance on this gift card, and it did not agree with my records. I did not use it to pay for the meal, but used another card. I have receipts where I paid for meal and the copy where the lady checked the balance. I e-mailed Cracker Barrel on 3-27-23 and 4-17-23 to get history of gift card. The Guest Relations said they would contact me later, but they never get things resolved. They say in their 4-17-23 e-mail to me the above gift card was used on 3-15-23. This is not true. I only had balance checked at this time. I want them to tell me when this gift card was purchased, the amount of gift card, and why they said it was used on 3-15-23. Their Ticket NOs. in their e-mail to me are ******** and ********. Completely Dissatisfied with Cracker Barrel's response about gift card ******************* 640 . Cracker Barrel (CB) is still not showing the amount this gift card was purchased for and the date it was purchased. My records show it was purchased for $80, and this is the amount it should have shown when I had it checked at CB on 3-15-23. CB showed $30, and this is why I did not use it on 3-15-23.When I e-mailed the ************* the CorpOffice deducted the $$30 instead of getting the amount correct. In their e,--mail of 3-37-23 to me, Magan of Guest Relations, said the gift card was completely used on 3-15-23 for the $30 which was NOT TRUE. The $30 had been deducted instead of adding the $50 which would have made the$80 the card had been purchased for. They finally saw they had erroneously deducted the $30. In their e,--mail of 3-37-23 to me, Magan of Guest Relations, said the gift card was completely used on 3-15-23 for the $30 which was NOT TRUE. The $30 had been deducted instead of adding the $50 which would have made the$80 the card had been purchased for. They finally saw they had erroneously deducted the $30. They then added it back.Then CB deducted the $30 again and sent me a new gift card for $30. This one had a pin number. This lacks $50 being what the card was purchased for. If I had not complained about this mistake, I would have been cheated out of this $30 plus the additional $50. What happened to the other $50 on this gift card. Cracker Barrel (CB) is still not showing the amount this gift card was purchased for and the date it was purchased. aCompletely Disappointed with Cracker Barrel's handling of response to Gift Card ******************* 640. Cracker Barrel (CB) is still not resolving this complaint. They are not showing amount this gift card was purchased for and the date it was purchased. My records show it was purchased for $80.and this is why I did not use it on 3-15-23 when I had balance checked and it only showed $30. I e-mailed CB ************ to get the correct amount and they deducted $30 instead of adding the $50 to make it correct. In their e-mail of 3-27-23 to me, a Magan of Guest Relations said the gift card was completely used on 3-15-23 which is not true. CB saw they had made a mistake and they reinstated the $30. Then CB deducted the $30 once again and sent me a new gift card for $30. This new one had a pin number. Thia lacks $50 being what the card was initially purchased for. If I had not complained about their mistake I would have been cheated out of this $30 plus the additional $50.
