    I have taken a cash out with the home warranty company and will not be using this company for repairs. Therefore I have no complaint against them anymore as it is done and over  with it. Terrible cusotmer service. I wonder if the owner of this company is aware of this behaviour? Please reach out and have them support their reasoning with the required law or take off estimate and do the right thing and replace my water heater that they are being paid to do.

    This customer is upset that we are following the law and will not install a water heater without a thermal expansion tank. She was told that she could request a different company but any licensed plumber would require her to have an expansion tank because she is on a closed loop system. Which requires a thermal expansion tank. When asked what inspector she spoke to she was unable to provide that stating that she just spoke with the person answering the phones. Then she stated that she called Lowes again not a licensed plumber. She was never treated rudely or disrespectfully by any staff member. She was very aggressive and refused to listen to anything anyone had to say. We went above and beyond to help her. 

    According to the International Plumbing Code (IPC), the relevant code for expansion tank installation is Section 308.10 When referring to building codes, the "IPC code" (International Plumbing Code) takes precedence over other referenced codes or standards within its scope, meaning that if there is a conflict between the IPC and another code, the provisions of the IPC will apply and take priority.
